Re: The fall of Spurs
They've just got no identity as a team, certainly this season and even under Ange despite his obvious tactical uniqueness. No idea what they're trying to be, or what type of player they are trying to sign - just seems totally haphazard and then the injuries expose it all. Players like Xavi Simons wh...

Re: More fixture updates
Was hoping for the 12.30 Saturday slot as that's a day trip on the boat, but can't really complain about this one tbf.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Yeah the amount of people leaving early all season has been ridiculous. I get the arguments about the number of night games and people having work in the morning, but it's been the same at the rare 3pm Sat games too. Personally for the night games we usually have to get down near the airport after t...

Re: Dwight McNeil
He looked a different player last night. There were a few occasions where he took players on and beat them, just with some quick feet and clever movement - stuff that he'd shown glimpses of during his good runs in past seasons but which we haven't seen for ages. Just his overall energy levels seemed...

Re: Jordan Pickford
Thought he was outshone by the clearly superior in all respects goalkeeper Dubravka tonight tbh

Re: Dwight McNeil
Deserves some credit today. Played pretty well, had a few good touches, and played a big part in Beto's goal. Probably his best performance of the season, and looked like he might be useful for the rest of the season if he's got out of whatever it was that seemed to hold him back so much this season...

Re: Thierno Barry
Not at 83 mins to regain the lead though, I'd take the guaranteed goal all day long.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 9:03 pm Penalty and a red might be a better outcome most of the time

Re: Thierno Barry
I actually loved how he scores with his anus and then celebrated like it was a worldie, fair fucks to him. He'd have tapped it in anyway if he wasn't fouled. I had a few seconds fear that the ref was going to blow for a penalty instead and disallow it until I realised that he couldn't do that as had...

Re: Jordan Pickford
It's absolutely stunning, the speed of his reaction to the shot and getting a strong hand on to it is something that's hard to really understand. I think most keepers don't even move as that flies past them in to the net, it's an insane save.

Re: The Friedkin Group
I suppose he's referring to this: "A smart decision to create a family of founding partners for the Hill Dickinson Stadium – with companies like Pepsi and Budweiser partnering with Everton – has paid off a nd another tie-in with another multi-billion firm is to be announced within weeks ."...

Re: The Friedkin Group
I mean I'm pretty sure ESCLA is on the wind up, but I've re-read the article and can't see where he's getting the ADDITIONAL from. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing that's been said that it couldn't possibly be Pepsi, despite the fact we already have a tie up with them. Not that I think it wil...

Re: The Friedkin Group
no can’t be Pepsi because they would not be the ADDITIONAL sponsor referred to and yes their logo is red it flashes around the perimeter midway lighting I the stadium and has done since the beginning? Everton has announced a five-year partnership with Pepsi MAX as a Founding Partner and Official So...
