Re: Thierno Barry

What profile of player would work? What does Moyes want from a striker? Is it just Dom but add in the ability to finish?

Re: Thierno Barry

Hold up play is a lot easier when you’re under less pressure is my point. The pass quality and opposition defence position that Beto/Barry are asked to hold the ball up compared to what Mateta and Woltemede are asked to do is vastly different. I stand by my statement that Mateta doesn’t look any go...

Re: Beto

Yeah I hope so. Obviously Moyes knows more about what is most effective, but Beto strikes me as someone who needs an arm around the shoulder rather than telling him to try harder. Based on nothing at all, obviously!! We're all guessing really, and we're probably a bit biased by how we'd like to be ...

Re: Carlos Alcaraz

It was refreshing to see a midfielder play on the half-turn and look to pass forward and move the ball quickly.

Re: James Garner

Wasn't it a couple of weeks ago that people were moaning about the midfield when he was shifted to left back? Everyone is desperate for someone in midfield to get on the ball, turn and play a forward pass to someone other than a fullback, but nobody wants to drop the disruption machine that's gueye...

Re: Thierno Barry

I'll repost my comment from the Moyes thread as I think it's relevent to the discussion on Barry: If you watch back the game yesterday it wasn't that Mateta was magically holding the ball up, it's that he wasn't under as much pressure from our CBs as they couldn't follow him as we were wary of the ...

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

Ground needed that today. Felt like a proper Everton Sunday afternoon grafting win and the crowd sucked that ball in. Was an arl fella telling everyone to sit down right when the atmosphere was building and he got told to fuck off by a few of us. Think this is going to start happening more. Andy bu...

Re: Tyler Dibling

Wasn't helped by having jake behind him to be fair to him. He looked very frustrated at times and didn't get the ball in the right places most of the time.

Re: Thierno Barry

There's absolutely no reason either, with the players we have, to not play good, on the deck togger either. I dont know, we're all super critical of both garner and gueyes ability to be progressive with the ball. Gueye had a few nightmare moments last match and we've just seen garner's passing map ...

I don't think you're annoying at all, if that helps.

You're borderline hatred for KDH is very entertaining.

I doubt it, KDH hasn't and I've heard he's absolutely shit.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

It’s happened by me every single game so far. The park end had a well better atmosphere than the upper south. I'm there and it's very similar to where I was sat in the upper gwladys, everyone sat down all game except for the odd outburst at the ref/dyche/beto or for a goal. Almost everyone I sat ne...
