Dammit. Should’ve taken him out for Jimmy Vaughan.
Can’t be letting him have that.

Don’t point at your watch, you tit.
This is your playbook. If you don’t like it, don’t do it yourself.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Standard of officiating has gone to shit.
There’s a reason teams who bend the rules at the edges are doing so well this season (see also: Brentford).

Re: The race for... Europe?
Any step into Europe is good. If we have any real long-term ambition, we have to be able to cope with the squad management required for multiple competitions. The important thing was not mortgaging future spending ability on overpriced players to get there. Mission accomplished on that front, now it...

Re: Dyche Watch
The fact that he’s doing the rounds and milking these things for attention is the precise reason he’s never going to do another meaningful thing in his managerial career.
Forever grateful for what he did for us, both taking over for Lampard and handling the points deduction.
But he’s cooked.

Re: The fall of Spurs
Maybe, although you kind of wonder what Dyche can offer that Frank wasn't already doing and failing to get a tune out of them? To the extent they may as well bring Frank back! I'll be surprised if they sacked Tudor at this point anyway. It seemed a weird appointment at the time and it's not been a ...

Re: The fall of Spurs
Can't help but feel Dyche would be at least trying as a last roll of the dice. One thing he does is get teams organised and working hard, so even if the footy would be a hard watch it might at least make them hard to play against. Also might force a few that have downed tools to pick them up again....

Re: The fall of Spurs
If I’m in trouble because my players don’t care enough, I’m starting Richarlison every match. Kind of odd to be bringing him off the bench.
I know he’s broken down a bit physically since he left but he always gives a fuck. They need that energy.

Re: The fall of Spurs
He has his shortcomings and also benefitted massively from the setup at Brentford but I still believe Frank is a capable manager and it speaks to what a bunch of bad dickheads they have in that squad that he couldn’t squeeze anything out of them.

Re: The fall of Spurs
I think it’s just the perfect storm of: - spending to maintain profitability while other clubs are maxing out their resources to compete at as high a level as possible - a sequence of poor managerial appointments and the subsequent lack of direction that creates - signing players based almost entire...

Re: Gana
I was a bit frustrated by the number of touches he was getting on the edge of the box in the first half. For all his merits, his quality in those areas is inconsistent at best. Made me eat my words in the second half. Killed every attack before it could start, rotations were perfect with Ndiaye roam...

This is about when keepers typically peak.
He’s always had world class reflexes and shot stopping ability and his positioning and anticipation have finally caught up.
Top keeper.

Warms my heart to see him so invested.
Going to be gutted if he isn’t back next season.
