Re: Tyler Dibling
Was getting doubled up on and trying to drive down the line or into the box. Not many in the league are very successful at that. Thought he had them worried without ever actually getting to the point of having achieved it really Certainly not a cameo i feel negative about. At least Moyes is back to...

Re: Tyler Dibling
He’s a 19 year old who plays sporadically and they were doubling him up every time he got the ball.
Give him time, the only thing that’s going to get in between him and being very good is not playing.

Re: Thierno Barry
Glad he’s finally showing what he can do.
We need to find ways to get him running into space more often. Sometimes gets it wrong at the end but you can tell defenders don’t expect the tall beanpole they’ve been marking to have that sort of pace.

Re: James Garner
Can’t argue with that.
He has the technical ability to be more expansive with his passing, let’s hope his vision and decision-making catch up.
Could access an even higher level if he starts using the ball better from deep.

Re: Mateta
Even if he was available to us, I’d rather play Barry.
One’s on the way up, one’s already peaked. I’d rather capture the peak of a younger player, which we will in a few years if we stay the course.

Re: James Garner
It's the going rate for a proven PL midfielder in his prime, purely because the other option is him running his contract down and getting a big signing on bonus somewhere else. First contract after being prem proven is a massive boost, it's why Ndiaye is only on 45k a week and Branthwaite is on 120...

Re: Patterson Future
Also rooting for him. He’s one of those who I think could’ve become a serviceable PL right back with regular games but he (1) came to a team in a batshit situation and (2) had injury problems. Not playing has been death to his career. Definitely nice to watch a natural right back over O’Brien. I’m w...

Re: James Garner
He’s probably been our most important player this season. It would be perfect timing if he’s played his way into a big money* move elsewhere though. We need someone who can spray it to earn all of the younger midfield talent we’ve acquired the right to do what they do best - apply pressure from the ...

Re: Merlin Röhl
We've weirdly assembled a decent collection of midfielders now, with him and Armstrong emerging alongside Gana, Garner, Iroegbunam, KDH and Alcaraz. Still probably need a standout quality player in there to upgrade the midfield, but it's a good group of options. Problem is they’re all various types...

Re: David Moyes
I hope we stick with this midfield structure from the last few games. Just think we’re a better proposition with a true midfield three. The 4-2-3-1 is so much softer in transition. Still needs a proper sitter in the middle but we won’t find that until next season. Hopefully, a playmaker with some pa...

Re: Thierno Barry
I think he settles into being a steady 12-15 goal a season CF with solid all-around play and that’s perfect for our current level.
Maybe he even goes supernova in front of goal one season and makes us a ton of money. Probably not but maybe.

Re: Scouting/recruitment
As things stand would you take our money back on any of them if offered? Too early to say. I’m one of the few who likes Barry and still thinks he’ll be good. Dibling could become something like a £100m player if he figures out how to turn his strength and pressure resistance into goals and assists ...
