Re: Beto
Nah the header was tougher than it looked, 2 players back on the line and the keeper to beat. Did nothing wrong imo. Barry missed an easier chance earlier Saturday when he totally missed the ball, Moyes said nothing about that, in fact it's barely been mentioned in general. It's a tactic from Moyes ...

Re: Beto
100% agree. If Moyes HAD publicly called him “a bit shit” that would have been uncalled for. I’m with you on that one, no doubt. We are aligned. Obviously not literally but that's how it might feel when someone's consistently digging you out in the media. Just keep it behind close doors don't tell ...

Re: Beto
Could understand if it was a throwaway one off comment, but he's done it a few times. Surely being consistently told you're a bit shit is going to play on anyone's mind however much you try to use it as motivation. Just think it's a bit uncalled for from your manager.

Re: Beto
I'm not really a fan of Moyes' digs at Beto either, and looking at Beto' this pre season, and the way he's started the season he does seem at times like somethings affecting him. Definitely not the same player as the 2nd half of last season although it was better when he came on Saturday. Just think...

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
He just has that never say die mentality and gets in good positions. Got to find a way to get him in the team he's direct and a threat.

Re: Tickets
By the club? I got an email yesterday off them saying that the club is sending them now, NOT seat unique Yeah no I mean seat unique I got that email too, I emailed them (seat unique) again this morning and they've basically repeated that, but said I will definitely get them. I'm not convinced though!

Yeah there is I'm sure I've seen something for season tickets holders picking up tickets there. I've just had an email back from seat unique saying they will be delivered today!!

Yep I'm in the same position, nothing received so hopefully come this morning, not setting off until I've got the tickets, got a 2 hour journey!ilikebrunettesisback wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 7:33 am I booked mine through seat unique. They've said the club are now sending tickets out.

Re: The Rebuild
Shocking letting us come into the season like this after so many departures from last season. This committee way of doing things hasn't worked at all. I know Moyes dithers with transfers, but even he's been disappointed with the people behind the scenes for the lack of movement. Leeds fans did say t...

Re: Beto
Yeah I also like Beto but he wasn't interested last night, maybe he does know he's on the way out, there have been rumours all summer. He wasn't exactly helped by the quality of service, which was fuck all, but didn't seem like his heart was in it. Strange to see as the one thing we always see is hi...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
It's a slightly underwhelming signing, but we're getting into desperation territory now so it's not surprising. I do think he's a decent player though and it's one of the midfield positions we really needed, quite happy with it really.

Re: The Rebuild
The recruitment team was put together quite late on and it feels like we've been really slow out of the blocks because of this. The transfer committee or whatever it is didn't seem the right way to go about it either and Moyes probably has too much influence for us to go the 'Brighton way' about thi...

Re: Flap Levels
Personally haven't been arsed this summer, too busy enjoying other stuff. There's no denying it's been a shit show this window so far, we barely have a squad and the current first 11 would undoubtedly be in a relegation battle at best if that's what we go with. Disappointing after finishing last sea...

Didn't start games until Moyes came in, scored 10 at the worst this season, but yeah get rid of him

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Poor early doors but second half thought he was a threat, last 20 was driving us on. Too early to tell really but there's potential there.
