Re: Iliman Ndiaye

Love him to bits, but would absolutely sell him if we got a very big bid, which is entirely possible this summer.

He's very good but he's never going to be double figures goals, double figures assists in a season, but we could get double figures goals/assists money for him from a Chelsea or Man U.

Re: Everton v Bournemouth

I dunno. I feel like he opens up at home and teams exploit the space in behind too much and Bournemouth are the best at that in league with how direct they are. But Keane and tarkowski at the back is a massive problem if you open so yeah needs to go branthwaite tonight. I hear that. I just feel lik...

Re: Everton v Bournemouth

Much as I defend his approach to away games, I do think he should change it up a bit at home. Would like Branthwaite back in tonight, and ideally want two traditional wide players starting.

Would also like to see Gana rested and Armstrong in the middle but think that's unlikely.

Re: Tyler Dibling

In an ideal world we get Europe and players like Aznou, Dibling, Armstrong and maybe even Braiden Graham get loads of gametime and confidence.

Re: David Moyes

I think Fulham's lack of ambition in the second half was probably the biggest difference. They seemed happy to sit deep and try snuff us out instead of playing as they had in the first half. Had they repeated the same ambition in both halves we'd have lost by several goals imo. Still we capitalised...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

We would crucify any of our players who did that.

Re: David Moyes

I thought him talking about the discrepancy between first half and second half performances was interesting, and his thoughts about why that was. We haven't made any half time subs in either game, as far as I can recall. His theory is that the margins between teams are so small and the league is so ...

Re: Things You Miss From Old Football

Nostalgia is an illusion and a cognitive bias. It's a yearning for a thing that never existed. It's a bittersweet comfort blanket.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

I'd genuinely sooner get knocked out in the 2nd round by a lower league team than be sat in the first half of the 2nd leg of the semis 5-0 down away to City.

Andy Hunter saying that Moyes wanted more players in the window to push for Europe, but the club hierarchy preferred to keep more money for the summer window and the longterm rebuild.

Andy Hunter says it's a loan with an obligation to buy for £20m.

Also says the deal sheet has gone in for Tyrique.

Re: January Transfer Window

Tiny bit disappointed that he didn't join Forest, and drag them into further trouble, but beggars can't be choosers.

Strange footballer. Still got no real idea what he is, or what role he fulfills in a team.
