It’s not that they can’t defend it’s that they only defend with six or seven players rather than the nine or ten were used to seeing nowweimaranerblues wrote:Are these [emoji638] great teams that just can't defend

Not just us, this is a different sport to majority of top flight teams - it’s incredible.Bluedylan[emoji637] wrote:I've been assured that this is definitely the same sport we play.
Give me a game like this over a Barca/City tikitaka any day of the week

Re: Thierno Barry
Ndaiye would be equally as bad up there. We're all bemoaning Barry's lack of ability to fight with big CBs but that's not Ndaiye's game either. He'd win about as many duels in that position as Barry did. What people want is to see someone play up there that would also involve Moyes changing how we ...

Re: Thierno Barry
People used to come on here and claim hed played well cos hed had a couple of moments of decent hold up play. Hes been shite all season long apart from a few great finishes and 1 game of loads of defensive headers. Theres nothing about him that sets him apart He’s not slow, he’s got size, good tech...

Re: David Moyes
We're offering him a new deal according to the guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/mar/27/everton-to-offer-david-moyes-new-deal-in-recognition-of-success-at-club Seems a bit premature to me - we've been great since he's taken over in the role of the little club underachieving but tha...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
It's situation dependent for me. I think for games where we want to be on the front foot then I'd have him deeper where he can provide a bit more quality at the base of things. You'd then want maybe someone like Alcaraz in the 10 to be that extra attacking threat in a more chaotic way. But for game...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Really good addition to the squad but I'm still not convinced on him as the 10 and think he's much better as one of a midfield three. Main issue with him as the 10 is that he seems to pick the wrong pass too often when breaking forward with time to think, his technique is obviously there I think it'...

Re: David Moyes
Yeah, I get all that, and agree with much of it, but my worry is that shit has a tendency to level out to the mean at some point. Sandro’s goalscoring season and Martinez season 1 with all those worldies (and somewhat ironically built on the bedrock of Moyes’ solid foundations) are testament to thi...
