Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
On a personal level, I feel so sorry for him. He is still so young and to have another big setback is a hammer blow for him. This one will test him much more than his first setback in terms of the mental side of it. It will create doubt and he will feel like the world is against him, but he has to b...

Re: Thierno Barry
We will get good money for Barry and we should be able to deal at broadly what we bought him for. Remember Moise Kean? Didn’t do too badly out of that despite us thinking we were going to get peanuts. We should be looking to trade upwards anyway. If you can sell someone that hasn’t worked out for a ...

Re: The race for... Europe?
GW32.png Couldn't be bothered sticking Palace on with 42 after they went level with Newcastle so removed them both for now. Obviously Man United and Leeds are playing at Old Trafford tomorrow which will affect the points average slightly but not significantly. The only match I see as a guaranteed d...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
It’s very difficult to understand what happened with that one on one. He took a decent first touch that set him up well to take a shot, but instead of that, took another touch which made things difficult for himself. Perhaps he was overthinking the situation with the amount of time he had. Good fini...

Re: Tyrique George
He will remain a great option from the bench, but defensively he will have to improve to get closer to the first team. He let his man go by him too easily to get a shot off on goal which lead to their second. But going forwards he is a real livewire with skill and pace. If he can work on the tactica...

Re: Tyler Dibling
I think it will either click with him or it won’t. It hasn’t clicked with him yet that he needs to be faster, sharper, more aggressive and more alert to the needs and tactics of the team.
I really hope it does, and if it does, we will have a heck of a player.

Re: The Friedkin Group
We will knock it out the park in the current financial year, with full impact from the stadium coming across and potentially a higher placing in the league. Wage to turnover being at 74% is a great effort. Puts us in a solid position going forwards to manage the club sustainably. There are plenty of...

Re: James Garner
He looks so confident in everything he does. He has matured massively over the last 12-18 months and looks ready for bigger things with us, hopefully in Europe and challenging for trophies. Between Pickford, Branthwaite, JOB, N’Diaye, KDH and Garner, we have a solid foundation to really build on. I ...

Re: James Garner
Garner is going to the World Cup and can see him as backup to Anderson and Rice. He is such a good option to have as a squad player. It was a really solid debut and showed some really good qualities in the first 20 minutes. Great set piece delivery, accurate passing, good movement off the ball, stro...

Re: James Garner
Starts for England. Big chance for him to stake him claim for the World Cup against a decent Uruguay midfield as well.

Re: The race for... Europe?
As much as I love looking up the table (for a change), we are also pretty close to those in the bottom half of the table. We have to keep our foot on the gas to avoid dropping down the table and end the season with a disappointing bottom half finish. Finishing in the top half / Europe will mean more...

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Just when you thought that Illi couldn’t get any better, he puts one in on the postage stamp in the top bins. Watched that finish about 20 times now. It’s so so good. Just caresses the net and spins around towards the back of the goal.

Re: Jack Grealish
How many kicked his foot, how many will kick it next season? Either answer doesn't bode well really. He's either going to get kicked until something breaks, or if it's not that he's (as shown in recent seasons) injury prone. His foot will be partially made of titanium now with the bone growing arou...

I noticed the boos. Very unnecessary and poor form all round.
I don’t agree with Barry’s comments online but good grief just move on and let the lad play football.

Re: James Garner
This guy was utterly superb today. He’s got a swagger to his game and has seemed to find more time on the ball. I suppose that’s the confidence of an England call up for you. Every time he received the ball today he tried to position himself to look forward. It’s a big improvement in his game when h...
