Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Plays anywhere asked, great attitude, improved loads this season... Not the most exciting player, can't imagine many kids getting his name and number on the shirt, but also not much to not like given the way he's played this season.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Completely bamboozled how that wasn't a red... If it's a pen it's a sending off, so a yellow makes no sense.blueToffee wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2026 6:34 pm Hmm could be a penalty and red?
EDIT: Kinda surprised it's not a red. Yellow given with the penalty.

Re: Football Shirts
Never been a footy shirt wearer outside of playing the game or watching it. I think when there's so many clothing options available wearing a footy shirt is pretty chavvy. But also doesn't offend me if others do so, and my 11 year old I don't think ever wears anything but a footy shirt apart from wh...

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I don’t even think he’s that good tbh He has qualities that are statistically elite. But he also has been well below average at other aspects... However those have shown clear development in recent months imo, and he's now getting to those average premier league levels most weeks when he plays. Whe...

Re: Thierno Barry
I spoke in a Scouse accent getting the bus to Goodison once, was surrounded by Evertonians, but thankfully I do a pretty good Scouse so no one twigged I wasn't local. Luckily we were playing west ham so doubt anyone would have thought I was an away fan anyway, so probably was a bit pointless and sli...

Re: Thierno Barry
Yeah I can get away with being in the Sunderland or Newcastle ends because I have a mixed Yorkshire / Durham / vague Geordie accent. Don't have to worry about speaking and anyone being suspicious. Obviously I also make sure people see my chinning a horse on the way on to ensure my cover is fully int...

Re: Thierno Barry
I know there's a massive difference in doing it and thinking it, but I can't believe @AjaxAndy when you say you've never thought about battering someone at the match Every game I want to kick someone's head in. Obviously I'd never do it but I definitely think it. Against spurs this season I was unf...

Re: Thierno Barry
Didn't he just have a go at the fans who punched his mates? I don't remember him having a go at all the away fans, just the thugs who decided to swing their fists at people he cares about. If he's alienated those fans then who gives a fuck? Can't understand how he's had a go at all the away fans by ...

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Why is everyone still trying to drop Gana despite his performances week in week out Sorry but I’m just not ready Because next season Gana is both 37 and out of contract. Tim is the future and developing really well whilst already possessing elite level parts to his game. Eventually you have to move...

Re: Thierno Barry
There are sometimes unfortunate consequences for doing stupid things when you have only yourself to blame. Sitting in an away end at a football match and cheering on the opposite team is one of those situations. Most people on here will have received a crack or two in their lifetime and many will h...
