Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
I've looked at the table about 8 times during and since the match... Yep definitely 5th, can't quite believe it. Appreciate might not be after tomorrow but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
No coincidence imo he's looked so good with Alcaraz in front of him and then being played a bit deeper as a result. Charlie does loads and loads of pressing and then teams go longer to compensate and our big players usually win the ball, then KDH is in that nice pocket to receive it and make things ...

Re: Thierno Barry
I loved his movement and the fact he slotted, both of those things showed he is actually capable and has talent.
He probably needs a year to bulk up because he can get dominated with ground duels but imo the rest is there and will develop as the season progresses.

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
I think he picks the slightly worse option there cos Barry needed a goal. Great teammate 100% agree. Also great movement by Barry with Alcaraz already on the side he cut across to either make space for Charlie or to receive the pass himself. Was all a bit bunched up for a moment but he saw the spac...

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
Dyche had us thinking the squad we had was so poor that hovering above the relegation zone was the max anyone could possibly do with us Moyes came in and proved what a fraud he was *In the last 1/2 a season. They year before he had us level on points with 11th placed Brighton despite the extreme di...

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
We didn't cope well with Newcastle counter attacking us, and have conceded from corners recently so I think we just need to be solid here and not push too high up,. especially with potentially a very weak midfield. Better to walk away with a drab 0-0 than allow them the space to run at our slow defe...

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
That's because you think Dyche the dinosaur was the only saviour, not everyone else does including myself. Points/results he's probably a 6/10 overall. Standard of footy then we're talking much lower. Given the three teams that went down then I reckon Gary Megson would have kept us up in the points...

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
Will also be booing, despite being a grown man. Made me hate going the match. Unforgivable that. How much would you have hated going to the matches if we'd not survived after the Lampard relegation season, or the season after when we had double points deductions? How much would you have hated the a...

Re: Kobbie mainoo - Jan Loan
Yeah he's an 8. Watched a thing a while back when Carsley was England manager exploring why we struggled so much towards the end with Southgate as neither Rice nor Mainoo were effective 6s.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 1:42 pm What is he actually, an 8? I always thought he was thought of as a 6.

Him and Dewsbury-Hall are definitely brilliant characters to have in the team. You can see why Moyes loves them and the fans have also fallen in love

Re: Kobbie mainoo - Jan Loan
Is he what we need?
Obviously another good ball player is great but not convinced him and Gana gives us enough defensive protection.
Still as far as January loans go probably far better than anything else we'd hope to get.
