It's actually 30 years, not 40

Re: Jordan Pickford

Got no issue at all with the club’s social media team banging the drum. We are a big club. Founder members of the football league, longest unbroken run of top flight football, pioneers of the game with a whole list of firsts in the English game - undersoil heating is just one of many. We are a club ...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

Its telling about the apathy toward the national side that there was not a single post made here during the 5-0 win at Latvia. Wales and NI at least managed a passing mention. 😅 International football bores me to be honest. Especially so when it disrupts the domestic season and included in the brea...

Re: Rank the Goalkeepers

Steve Simonsen was definitely a case of Peter Johnson taking the fucking piss. Brought in from Tranmere, along with Tony fucking Thomas. What a pile of steaming shite they were.

Re: Rank the Goalkeepers

I can still remember Richard Wright being touted as the next big thing. Just before he signed for Arsenal from Ipswich, IIRC. He was supposedly going to be England's number one for years to come. He was absolute fucking shite!

That sounds like a plan. He could take them down this year, then win the Championship next season to maintain his record of always winning something in his second season.

Sane old same , only beat the promoted teams last season, same again Burnley and Sunderland, 10 man Chelsea. Won't go down , still a poor team of individuals Absolutely piss myself if they can fluke a result at the shite in a couple of weeks. Kill two birds with one stone. Keep Amorim around a litt...

116M wasn't it? Felt he'd flop, made up he is. Bundesliga to Premier League is a massive culture change. How many players have successfully made the switch from Bundesliga to Premier League and been instantly successful? Owen Hargreaves? He was ok, but didn't exactly set the League alight. Jude Bel...

Re: David Moyes

Arteta for me, I wanted him at the time we got Ancelotti and he went to Arsenal at the same time. I know the Arsenal fans are moaning about him, but I wouldn’t make mind moaning if he does a similar job here. I reckon he’ll be available/ready for new challenge by the time Moyes goes too. Nah, not h...

Re: David Moyes

Some of you need to realise best, successful and memorable all mean different things. The season we won the most games was the season we were better than the season we won less games. Doesn't mean we were more successful or memorable. Ultimately though, the only thing that matters in the history bo...

Re: David Moyes

Had our best ever premier league season after moyes left. With an attacking threat added to the rock solid spine that Moyes built. Martinez then decided to fuck about with it and he'd have definitely taken us down to the Chamionship if left in place any longer than he was. Martinez teams play lovel...

We employed that bellend Sean Dyche. Surely that must be punishment enough.
