Re: James Garner
Irreplaceable from a talent perspective? Definitely not, but he's a solid squad player and I'd image we want to save every penny to bring in better players, rather than another backup to replace him if he goes. It's like the left back situation for me, we need a big upgrade on myko, but we probably...

Re: Everton v Newcastle
These seem to be struggling this season, City game aside. 5:30pm Saturday under the lights should add to the atmosphere. If we can start the game like we did on Monday we have a great chance of pushing up towards the European places ahead of some tough games.

Re: The Rebuild
There's a strong British core to the squad at the minute, which is probably helping with the spirit we showed last night and after the game. Looks like a happy camp and one which will hopefully get stronger once we bed the likes of Armstrong and Dibling in.

Re: David Moyes
Hopefully this win will enable him to think upwards instead of down. I always get the feeling he's a member of the glass half empty gang, in that he always worries about our opposition more than our own strengths and fears we are only a few defeats away from slipping down the league and being in a r...

Re: Thierno Barry
People might disagree with me, and fair enough, but I'd like to see him chase down the keeper a bit more. A bit of the old Dennis about him. Sometimes I feel he can just put a bit more pressure on them. I get the feeling he knows most of the time its worthless, and it shows. He’s also clearly low o...

Re: Michael Keane
True. However I'm not that bothered about his absence at the minute, Keane and Tarks look to have formed a decent partnership.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 11:37 am It’s not even up for debate branthwaite is levels above both tark and Keane and walks back into the team

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Broke up play brilliantly when he came on, if he could translate these sub appearances in to starts then we might actually have a player on our hands. He'll be starting the next few so we'll have more of an idea after that, but he's been pretty good coming off the bench and when he started against ...

Re: Thierno Barry
The difference between him and Beto when he came off was massive. There can only be one player we put our time and effort into now.

Our most important player. Turned into a proper top drawer keeper.

Should trouble the scorers more if he can swing one in like that. Decent game, tidy player, good interview.

Had a really good game tonight. Grafted without ever really looking threatening.

Re: David Moyes
Moyes will have been losing sleep about how he sets his team up to combat Fernandes, or Mbuemo, or Cunha, or Amad or.... Never known a manager to worry so much about the opposition and forget he's the manager of a team that can actually try and win a football match away from home. A sleight that has...

Re: James Garner
Garner getting some unwarranted criticism here. He's a limited player playing about par for his level. We know we need an upgrade but he doesn't pick himself and he's doing the best with the rather limited talents he has. Unfortunately we have one of the worst scouting setups in the league so we con...
