2012/13 for Celtic, 15 games since they last won in the CL. 2005/06 for Rangers, Rangers have won one of their last 23 games, Naismith with the winner back in 2010 v Bursaspor, although they weren't even in the Premiership for several years never mind fighting to a place in Europe. In fairness though, giving anyone else a go would be even worse given how badly the other clubs have done in lesser European competitions. European football is littered with embarrassing Scottish defeats often against teams we can hardly spell never mind heard of.

This young lad in the middle for Newcastle looks special.

I've seen those given (against us) :)

Gordon was a bit lucky there, albeit I'm sure the player was looking for any opportunity.

Don't think that was a penalty at all.

Shame for it to be decided by that. Although, thought the Gordon one was a more decent shout.

Thought we'd avoid the VAR controversy for once, but back it is again.

Get in you gang of murderous cunts. Newcastle going through would be horrific.

Commentators going on about how it would never be given in the premier league is funny considering this was given a couple of months ago

Funny as fuck. Not a pen, but maybe it is in Europe, who knows these days.

Really? Anything is given as a penalty these days in the PL. Don't know what they're talking about.

They got smashed.

Should have lost by a big margin but they had no choice to play the way they did with the injuries

If that's considered to be handball then that's where indirect freekicks need to come in. There's no way that should result in a massive opportunity to score with a penalty.

Why is the game rewarding players who are cheating and trying to mislead?

The last one is never a penalty either.
Just watched the incident cods and it's pathetic.
Not that i didn't know it already, but the games gone. it's fucked.
And townsend's comment oh he's entitled to go down makes me puke
Spot on Stumpy. Been that way and progressively getting worse over the last 20-30.

Did you see how everyone on the panel smiled like it was an inside joke and no one wanted to really discuss it? But then I was very surprised that they actually first raised it, and then crossed live to an unprepared Cairney to interview, talk about a hospital pass… good to further expose it, but hopefully not normalise it or desensitise the viewer.

Yeah, the reward for a minor infraction in the box is so oversized when there is no clear denial of a goal scoring opportunity.

Handballs or tiny contact that results in a player flopping because they are slightly inside the box should really be indirect free kicks if they want to call those fouls.
