Since we lost to Wolves we're five wins, a draw and three defeats in nine. Two of those defeats were Arsenal and Liverpool which you expect although we really could have got something from Liverpool had the ref been more consistent. Other than the Luton defeat it does feel like things are changing a bit and we've a run of fixtures coming that we should hopefully pick up some more points from, even United at home doesn't seem too daunting.

Just a shame there's another fucking international break coming next month.

Hope he doesn't make many changes for the Burnley match. One match away from a cup QF where there are going to be some lower league teams. It's a big opportunity.

Yeah we are doing better and he seems to have largely settled on a first eleven that works. The football isn't anything special but its not as horrendous as it could be.

It's not scintillating football but it's functional and effective. It's no coincidence we've beaten Brentford, Bournemouth and West Ham who all appeared to be having a bad day... We're just pretty horrible to play against making teams look off the pace.

Would have been nice to have started the season with City, the shite, Arsenal, Spurs and Villa, sides that generally beat us well. Then we would have had reinforcements for the easier games.

But it's done now and hope we can continue to improve and at least start beating the poor sides of the division.

Dyche's job (barring takeover) looks considerably more safe in recent weeks.

Not sure we should have expected an instant turnaround without bumps given the job he had in front of him, but over the longer term the arrow is at least green and on a positive incline.

Honestly I wanted him gone a couple weeks ago. Thought him losing 9 of 10 matches at home is enough to see him gone.

Starting to play much better. Think if we had actually picked up a few earlier wins against easier opponents he would be getting praise instead of criticism. Next 8 weeks will tell us if we actually have turned the corner.
