Record Breakers, History Makers

Is that the first time in the history of football that someone has been booked for taking a quick free kick?

It was more of a “you can’t kick the ball until Liverpool are ready. Then, and only then, may you kick the ball” type booking.

Seen plenty booked for preventing a quick free kick being taken, but none for actually taking a quick free kick

Gonna go out on a limb here and say that there's no such rule and we'll get a 'that decision was wrong' statement by PGMOL as they quickly acknowledge it before moving on and not giving a shit.

Since the change of injury time rules a few years back - that's the first match out of 410 that has had 3 minutes or less injury time.

Can bet your arse the ref wouldn't have blown when he did if we equalised on 90 though.

Good to see we are still ahead of the curve in making history. Amatuer officiating in the biggest professional league in the world.
