He bossed Doncaster though!!

Re: Beto
He looks every bit a "pay next financial year" type of striker.
Let's let him settle in though eh? Still early doors like, give him time to settle.
I thought he looked good in his first few matches but seems to have lost his way.
As long as Dom is fit and firing he doesn't really NEED to be that brilliant.
Just come in when needed score 5-7 goals.

Re: Beto
Too early to commit one way or the other in my opinion. He clearly can't head a ball to save his life.
Re: Beto
I'd argue he can, bullet header that hit/fractured the post in the cup was Ferguson-esque. Maybe less good in hold up play from what we've seen so far, but we're comparing him to DCL who's one of the best...NomadskiEFC wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 6:57 pm Too early to commit one way or the other in my opinion. Re: Beto
Far too soon to judge, but have to say his heading does look a bit ropey.

Re: Beto
We need to play to his strengths of pace and power.. through balls and low crosses to feet. If we keep trying to make him play the way we are he will get frustrated and we'll never see his potential

Re: Beto
He's had multiple heading opportunities in games and got nowhere near the goal with the vast majority of them so I'd say that Ferguson esque header was a misnomer rather than a sign of things to come.Cods wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 10:09 pmI'd argue he can, bullet header that hit/fractured the post in the cup was Ferguson-esque. Re: Beto
Was he injured today or Dyche just wanted to keep Chermitti happy?
