What is the highest you think we'll finish this season?

We absolutely CAN stay up. It's up to us as fans to ensure that Goodison Park is super intimidating for visiting teams and ensure that the 11 on the pitch know that we are 100% behind them.MayorFarnham wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 6:43 pm I am a little concerned that everyone seems to expect us to stay up.
The manager has to create a real siege mentality in the dressing room and we must maintain our recent form.
The teams around us at the minute are particularly weak this season, so if we keep our momentum, there is no reason why we should fall adrift. We simply need to ensure that we win at least one more game than the rest of the bottom 4 and we will be fine.

I'm fully aware of the narrative. Just also aware of our record of fulfilling expectations.74Blue wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 8:02 pmWe absolutely CAN stay up. That, and our ability to sustain such levels of performance on the pitch and vociferous support from the fans over the next 6+ months.MayorFarnham wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 8:18 pmI'm fully aware of the narrative. But on the flipside it'd have to be a bit demoralising for the bottom teams to see (hopefully) a team that copped -10 still being in and around within touching distance slowly pull away again. Like a second chance at not being relegated, slowly slipping out of grasp.
