So basically Soton have backed down, and our hard negotiating has worked?

Looks that way, doesnt it. I have to say I prefer this approach to the "just get it done ffs" era of Moshiri.and PSR probably approves too.

Am I being naive to think a bank holiday would prevent any announcement?

Was wondering how they’ll all fit in too but then you look at the Shite and Spurs/Chelsea etc and they all have multiple options for both the starting line up and bench

Which is not something we’ve had in a long time - when was the last time we genuinely had more than one starting 11 that didn’t drop massively in quality or played people out of position???

Yeah the “just pay over the odds” shouts feel a little silly now, but let’s remember they were fuelled by the desperation of a tragic recruitment crisis.

Which crisis? Being behind on this windows spending or the moshiri years of just pay over the odds which saw points deductions, relegation battles and talk of administration

I was talking about the general panic of starting the season terribly, with multiple players starting in unnatural positions to cover unfilled gaps.

Made me spit my tea out. And on the above Post, you as always, the voice of reason, but I think we need to all look at ourselves for our flapplevels and slagging our own players off. But thank you for the out😋
