Surprise factor first 10 matches of the season, but since then Spurs have been a pretty average team. Lack of discipline massively in their side.

Got Roma vs Leverkusen on.

She has a big thing for De Rossi which is fair. Although she doesn’t seem really arsed about him being a one club man and a brilliant midfielder back in the day.

Thought Villa would win that match about 4-0.

They do have Olsen in goal though.

Maddison has been terrible since he came back from injury.

Great freekick from Palmer, intelligent header from Jackson as well.

Just absolutely made up that Villa got thumped there. Just hope for no disasters in the second leg and that's the arrogant twats gone.
Had one lad yesterday telling me he was sorting some leave for the final. I'll tread carefully incase they fluke the second leg but I am really going to enjoy this.

People seem to be using Spurs being 5th as some sort of achievement but they're only 6 points ahead of Man United who have been shocking. Chelsea could be in 6th place after the weekend and they've also had a horrific season apparently. 5th and miles off a 4th placed Aston Villa isn't good and I wouldn't be surprised if 'Ange' is gone by the time 2025 comes around.

I think that's right. Everyone knows my views about Villa (mainly their players and fans) but they are probably the only side in that 4th to 8th group who have overperformed and Emery does deserve great credit for that, but the top three have been a mile ahead and then Spurs, Utd, Chelsea and to a lesser extent Newcastle have all under achieved.

That's why if I was Emery I would go this summer. I don't believe this season is repeatable. At least one and probably more of those clubs will sort it out for next season. The CL is just not a competition Villa can realistically compete in and there will be a drop off in the league. Their fans will turn and his choice of exit strategies will be a lot lot less appealing in twelve months' time.

Interesting end to the Championship season today.

All games kicking off at 12:30.

Might watch one of those games instead of Arsenal Bournemouth.

Hoping Ipswich get the win they need.
