Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Couple of madrid fans last night chatting to media after game saying the City fans are shit and dont deserve the success etc.
True tbh. It baffles me... when they win stuff, the polite clapping etc. We celebrate corners more than they celebrate winning shit.
Anyway, it makes me not want them to do well. But i am torn, cos they are the only team stopping Liverpool. Ugh.

You're torn between city who don't clap loud enough and Liverpool who are a vile set of delusional cunts?

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Isn't it just the case that a lot of City fans have an ambiguous relationship with the CL, whereas Madrid fans define themselves almost completely in relation to the CL?
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Man City fans are poor these days tbf. It's just too easy most of the time and Pep's football is brilliant but it's not a type of football that constantly has you on the edge of your seat. Obviously he's going nowhere but the end of this season would have been a 'good' time for him to leave imo, especially if he wins the league for the 4th year running.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
I have a good few City fan pals. Id say 65% of them say they prefer it when they were shit! crazy to think of that when Everton are so bad and we want success. But i guess the grass isnt always greener !!
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
I was just looking at Yerry's stats last night, seems like he's staying fit and getting games now. I wonder if all wasn't well at Fiorentina when he wasn't getting games and now he is?TheRam wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 11:34 am https://x.com/footballontnt/status/1781 ... 65855?s=46

Reckon Luton will stuff Brentford today and be out of the relegation zone by 5 o’clock.

This feels like a big win for Leicester. Albion been well in this and can count themselves unlucky to get nowt.

Referee has been abysmal. Looking forward to seeing him in the Premier League.
