I couldn't careless about formats and competitions being devalued.
I'm craving for what West Ham, Newcastle, Spurs, Villa and Palace have done in the last two seasons.

What is our purpose as a club? I have no idea.

Honestly the more I see teams like this win it as in teams like the Spurs one that won the EL or Palace winning the ECL...it already feels a bit devalued to me. When trophies mean less and less about who is actually the best the less they mean.

They put one shark in a small ocean of salmon and are calling it a competition right now. It'd be like putting Man City in league 2. Crystal Palace's squad cost x5 times the Rayo one, they're like a mid table Championship side budget wise.

The EL and the ECL are now less of a challenge than the Carabao Cup. That feels kinda ridiculous.

They've siphoned far too many clubs into the CL just to have enough teams for the top CL teams to beat up on to ensure they get through the first table phase without too much trouble and it's kneecapped the standing of the EL and ECL.

I stand by what I said about winning the conference league.

I would not be arsed. Finishing 8th, possibly 9th in your league and winning a competition where you’re budget is hundred times more than the majority of the opposition isn’t an achievement.

Of course, I would like us to win it, there’s an opportunity here to rack up trophies and fill the cabinet, like palace have done, but it means nothing as a competition to me.

Winning it would feel like a formality.

Limit the amount of teams qualifying for Europe, and at least go back to the old format for the conference league and the Europa.

At least then you have a challenge to qualify out of the group stage.

Palace half arsed their way through that competition, tanked the league from January onwards so when they eventually had to play anyone half decent they could steamroll through them.

Bit galling to have Palace winning two trophies in two seasons, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Brighton getting European football and Forest getting to a Europa League Semi Final while we're still stuck in the 'stability' narrative.

There's never been a better time for a middling club to have relative success. We can't afford to not take advantage of the current landscape.

There is only one solution but they'll never do it. Reduce the amount of teams that qualify for the champions league.

It's absurd that basically every year 25% of this league and another European league (Spain/Germany) will qualify for the CL.

Finishing 8th in the Premier League shouldn't be qualifying you for Europe. 9/20 teams shouldn't be in Europe... and it's now happened twice in a row!
