Momentum with Spurs, they'll go on to win there home games against Leeds and us to stay up.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Ah just seen the Villa line-up. This match fell quite well in the schedule for Spurs.

Its funnier short term but spurs are financially set. I wouldn't mind seeing a long term crash from forest or west ham

Pathetic performance that from Villa.
Understandable, but still pathetic.
Imagine if that was us in West Ham's position watching that, we'd be fucking livid.

There will come a time when villa might need a performance off another team, and let's hope they remember this shithouse display.NomadskiEFC wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2026 7:56 pm Pathetic performance that from Villa.

Yeah, it certainly did, villa wanted nothing to do with it.
Fair play to all those who seen this coming and called a spurs win.
They will probably be alright now, the confidence thing has done a full turn this weekend, west ham will be on the floor.
Still hoping they can drag it out to the last day though
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Big call. They seem a different prospect to a few weeks ago, but not sure beating an unmotivated 7- change Villa quite matches thumping Villa and City for 4 each only 18 months ago.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2026 6:47 pm Best Spurs have played for about 2 seasons that.
Be interesting if their collective mentality can handle it if they concede the next goal.
Granted City also were a different prospect then!

Yeah they did, and they blew it against utd.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2026 10:12 pm Well they got 1 from us last season against newcastle
You can imagine what they would have said if we made 7 changes and didn't bother doing jack shit on the field like they did

Can’t blame Villa for making the changes, I’d fully expect us to do the same. At the end of the day you look after yourselves.
I’m pretty sure after one of the 80’s title seasons, when we’d sown the league up we put our reserves out to play Coventry who needed the win to stay up, pretty sure they beat us 4-1.
Must go and look that up.
