Imagine they get given this and we never got ours.

Bizarre but it looks like he kept it in. Don't know what Digne was doing.

Missed the game but seems like Forest got a little lucky.

That looked a red card all day, even more so in Europe you’d think.

Slightly concerned now that Villa half arse it against Spurs next game though. That and Forest getting CL football feels off somehow.

Desperately want Spurs to go down and while I would usually enjoy Villa losing anything and everything including tonight, I've long had a suspicion they would chuck in a stinker against Spurs on a rare occasion I could tolerate them winning.

Will be the 2nd season in a row that a relegation candidate gets rewarded with Champions League football the following season.
Me either, but last year's relegation candidates had as many wins as we did (11) and 5 more than 18th place. They were never in trouble.

Think it's more a function of teams that either aren't the big boys, or those with limited or injury-ravaged squads that struggle to maintain League form... Or more to the point don't even really bother with the league as they know they've got a chance of European riches, which is the driver.

That either creates or maintains the finances required to compete at the top and keep and supplement their best players with more good ones. There's bugger all financial difference between finishing 7th and 17th, and the guaranteed funds for qualifying for the Champions league, so I guess why not throw it all at Europe if you've got the opportunity over a handful of games, than be too heavily concerned about the 38 in the league.

Definitely don't want Forest winning this and getting CL footy. Finishing 7th -17th is quite a lot of money in the Prem these days , obviously not CL cash . Plus the uefa regulations are far stricter on transfer Psr shit. However don't trust Marinikas one bit. I imagine it would be similar to Newcastle, forest could yo yo between Europe and lower table . They possibly would end up with a better quality of squad.

Forest can do one. They shouldn't even be in the Europa League but they spawned their way in due to Palace being silly.

Now they might get CL next season after being in the bottom 5 most of the season? What a joke.

I wanted Spurs for relegation but now I want Forest to go down. It's the only way they won't be able go spend crazy in the summer if they get CL but get relegated also. No decent player would sign for them. They must be stopped!!

villa to win just - close game but good time to play the villa as they are down one nil between euro semi final -
they didnt turn up last time out in the prem and who knows spurs could well benefit here
ps
i know u wont like this cannock mate but would prefer villa to win the euros - deffo not forest - i like emery as a manager and his way of pushing his teams every second of every match
and
english success keeping the euro ratio intact

Always look forward to the last day of the Championship. Seems like there’s late drama every year. With relegation sorted it’s all at the top, 1 of 3 for the second automatic place and 1 of 3 for the last play-off place. Hearts will be broken. The madness begins at 12:30.

Big goals for Ipswich, Boro and Derby. Bad news for Wrexham.
