Which is why Alcaraz might be worth a try. He may have his faults but he’s always moving and always trying something. Too much of a maverick for Davey tho I fear.

Think the best option is to move KDH back as part of a two with garner and put Alcaraz in the ten.

Alcaraz at least looks like he wants to make things happen as messy as he is.

Shame for Tim. I had hope after some of his performances this season but when he’s bad he can lose games single handedly for you.

From the snippets I saw, maybe didn't have the best game in his return against Chelsea?

One of his poorer games wasn't it.

Still think when he is on song he's our best and most important midfielder.

Genuine question: Does he walk back into our starting lineup?

He’s getting on now and wasn’t great (by his standards) first half of the season and midfield hasn’t been out biggest issue this year.

My feeling is that we’re mid table no matter what so I’d like us to give more time to Armstrong/Iroegbunam to see whether they have what it takes at this level.

If it allows Gana to go back to RB then yes. If it means Rohl isn't starting then yes. If it means he'll smack Keane round the head again then probably yes again.

yeah, he does for me, i still think we look better with him there.
Anyway if we don't buy a right back this month, which is looking likely, i'd move garner to right back and play armstrong with gana.
I just can't face one more game with O'Brien at full back

Moonwalks back in.

I'd have James garner at right back quicker than a flash.

Yes. One of the first names on the team sheet.

Genuinely think Tim has been good enough to pose the question but he’s picked up an injury which means it’s easy to get Gana straight back in which is fine by me.

I want a three of Gana, Tim and KDH.

I’d put garner left back and just go with Patterson on the right.
