"One of them recognised him and said, ‘Oh, it's Ivan Toney, and tried to put his hands around his neck to get a photo with him.

"And then Toney has said, 'Get off me, get off me' and ended up head-butting one of the guys."

Headbutting a selfie hunter? Hmm
Fella on twitter claims one of the 'selfie hunters' asked toney for any tips for the weekends betting

I laughed, but as Todd said, he's asking for it if that is true. Not that it excuses Toney resorting to violence.

Gone off Toney, now. Bring me Nicolas Jackson and let him link up with Ndiaye.

Think we dodged a bullet with Liam delap. Even beyond the injuries hes looked a bit of a nothing player. 30m maybe but hes probably earning double what hes worth

I think Delap would have done well for us. He's robust enough enough to play that lone role, not afraid to put himself about, needs refining of course but doesn't suit Chelsea's system, players or culture at all. Moyes would mould him into our battering ram and with some other English lads around him he'd fit right in. Wrong move for him, saw the money and bright lights of the capital.

Called it as soon as he chose them.

Absolutely woeful choice for his development.

He's had his injuries but he's a terrible fit for Chelsea.

Has no experienced pros around him there to help him. His manager is a really just a coach still trying to make it as a No 1, rotating a load of young lads around every week to try and keep everyone happy. They have some decent talent but no experience. Moyes would have had a decent crack at ironing his game out and senior lads like Coleman, Tarky, Grealish etc... would have been a good solid group for him to learn from.
Can see why he chose Chelsea over Man U and us though, just the wrong move for his development.
