If he wasn’t contributing to overall play and not scoring, then that would be a major issue. But the fact is that he is contributing to the team winning with his overall attitude and play.
I like the lad a lot and I think with time he will get his goals - over a longer period of time, he will ultimately be judged on goals. But for now, as long as the team keeps winning, that’s less of an issue for me.
The more he gets used to his teammates, the British weather, the culture, the Premier League etc etc the more he will benefit.
Physically, he looks like he has improved over the past couple of months. It’s either a change of mentality or a bit of work in the gym (or both).
Apart from the goals thing, I like what I see.
But because of the goals thing, it's right to reserve full judgement, him being a striker n all. Just a shot or two on target, even a few more off target, would go some way to giving us an idea.
However we are on a decent run and he has been instrumental to that, so he deserves some slack and time. Just hope we don't get into 2026 and see we're still having these discussions.

Fair point. I just think that over a season the amount of influence he's had in the last few games will still not be enough to justify him being first choice.
Because of the lack of options up front we are putting too much on him and that could hinder his progress.
Anyway I think he'll score tomorrow.

Which backs up what we all see. We do work some good positions but we continue to recycle the ball instead of having a crack, Grealish is as guilty as any for this and the one time he does have a pop we get the deflection and score.
Its amount of shots and the value of them chsnces when we took the shot. We want to be top right. You dont want to be bottom left. I guess you want to be at least high up because utd with shooting from lots of rubbish chsnces isnt really productive. We arent having enough shots and the 1s we have arent really from great positions either
I do think we've got some decent creative players. Its easy to say the strikers arent scoring because we dont create much but I think much of it is on their poor movement
