Would have benefitted from a full season out on loan and kept Armstrong here so he could be playing every week, learning about the game both positionally and developing his own identity of what he is. He has the raw ingredients but he lacks game time to develop. He is four years further on in his development than Armstrong so should really be approaching the stage where we can assess whether he has it in him to be a player at this level. At the minute we have no idea.

We can't keep a squad player at this level who is only competent enough to bring on for the final 15 mins of games. Waste of a space. Should have been getting regular game time this season lower down the leagues under a proper manager who can instil some discipline in him. We can't afford to have someone who gets so exposed at this level. He needs to learn, quickly.

We saw this in the league match against Wolves. Tim came on for Gana last 10 minutes and we fell apart.
