Re: Today's Football 2023-24

Remember when getting the slightest touch on the ball first meant it wasn’t a penalty? Has that gone away now or is it just selective application? I think the ref maybe didn't see the touch, cos it was quite slight, and then for some reason we say that VAR can't overrule the ref, unless it's a glar...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

My word, Arsenal are a dull watch.

You're meant to be exciting for a while, before you become an elite team. They've just gone straight to dull monotony.

Re: Relegation

I think from a mental wellbeing POV as a fan, assume a higher deduction so that you don't completely lose your shit on Monday. If it's lower, sound.

Re: Relegation

None of you are sacking football off if we get more than 2 points.

Re: Dyche

No I agree, but they both would have relegated us and I think Dyche over a full season without dedications wouldn't and that's quite a big difference. I know you dislike him as manager but fair fucks he's in a different league to Lampard or Benitez, even if it's still not a very good league. Yeah, ...

Re: Dyche

He's doing a lot better than Lampard or Benitez tbf... They had better players and larger squad depth, and Dyche is still on for roughly a 40 points season where it not for the points deduction(s) and all the chaos that surrounds that impacting the team. The winless run was bad and performances hav...

Re: European Football Thread

Bringing Eric Dier in for a club the size of Bayern Munich is like your other half coming back from a work trip and asking how you feel about open relationships when you pick her up from the airport.

Re: European Football Thread

Good old Tommy T.

Bringing Eric Dier in should've been a red flag for any self-respecting Bayern fan.

Re: Relegation

I'm assuming we get like a 4 point deduction, so that win is huge to at least keep us out of the bottom 3.

Re: Dyche

In the absence of a crystal ball I’ve no clue what Dyche could do next season, and agree that more often than not this kind of run gets a manager sacked. But one thing’s for sure - points deductions in either of the last 2 seasons gets us relegated. Without them this season we’d already be pretty m...

Re: Dyche

We all know the club is a mess. I don't need a bunch of Liverpool supporting journalists to tell me that. I also don't need to hear those journalists telling him how Dyche has an impossible job, and implying that he's beyond criticism after we've just watched 4 months of some of the worst football y...

Re: Dyche

Dyche is massively lucky that no one in the media is criticising him. Almost 4 months without a win is outrageously bad. We all know there's stuff going on around him. It's shielding him from criticism.
