Re: Amadou Onana
Still think a lot of people don't understand him as a player, because of his appearance and his physicality. People think he should be Essien, and he's a passing DM.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I think Keane is a bad CB, for this level. I think if you can't nail down a consistent spot at a very limited team near the bottom of the Prem, you're not that good. Yes he has qualities, but I've given up expecting a period of consistency or growth.

Shamoon Hafez is the source. He works for the BBC and seems to cover Everton a lot.MayorFarnham wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 6:41 pm Who are EFC Daily? Considering they didn't have an inkling the Friedkin deal was collapsing they claim to have knowledge of the intentions of other possible investors.

This is the most Everton Friday ever.
Sell Branthwaite by midnight and really go to town with it.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
In my angriest and darkest moments, I often wonder why a few high level Liverpool gangsters who might have a leaning towards the blues don't find a way to get hold of this cunt.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
It wasn't even going to be an insanely transformative takeover. It was going to be solid, stable and professional. It was going to allow us to breathe, and actually think about the football, the reason we're all interested in this fucking thing. But no. You've had your few weeks of mild optimism and...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Don't think it's happened for him at Napoli (in a very difficult season for the club in general), but he was very highly rated at Eintracht Frankfurt and had lots of clubs competing for him. The Reds tried to sign him at the same time, but he choose Napoli for more playing time opportunities. He's a...

Re: Dyche
The new owners (assuming all goes smoothly) will be an interesting variable.
Often new owners are itchy to choose their own man. I'm sure there won't be an ounce of pressure on Dyche at the moment, but if we were to have a difficult period in the season, itchy trigger fingers might appear.

Here's the Guardian's rating, so there's plenty of positive perspectives - Jordan Pickford (GK) Another excellent tournament for England’s No 1. Pickford made saves at vital times, particularly in the second half of the final against Spain, and excelled in the penalty shootout victory over Switzerla...

It's encouraging that we're approaching players with broadly similar profiles that have been identified for specific roles in the team that we need, even if we miss out on the first/second player on the list. It seems less scattergun than in the past.

Re: England National Team
I think it’s absolutely pathetic to see foreign managers linked with the job. We should have a glut of English managers ready to step in. A nation as big as ours should never have to look abroad for a manager. I agree with Luke Moore. I think the manager should have to be from the country they are ...

Re: Pickford
I think he gets overcriticized and nitpicked by media people and fans of other clubs, and I also think in response to that he gets overpraised by some of our fans. It's not exactly the same in each individual case, but it's the same dynamic lots of fans have with their club players playing for the n...
