Re: Dele
Obviously happy to be proven wrong and definitely wish Dele the best but we should be thankful he's no longer on the books and be moving on. Would be utter fools to offer him a new contract. Just depends on the numbers, give him £10k a week and a one year deal and there's absolutely nothing to lose...

Re: Dele
Feels like we'll take care of him whatever happens and so he's in the best place for any potential comeback... But it also feels like if we can't agree a deal and he can't play for us he'll have to sign for someone else which may very well be the end of any glimmer of hope for him. He needs to stay ...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
It's a penalty if he contacts Kane with his studs. He doesn't though, Kane kicks Dumfries' foot on his follow through... That's a huge difference. Dumfries' foot doesn't even move towards Kane, he just puts it there to block the shot. It's the same as when a player runs in to an opponent... They don...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I guess I'm not the only one then... I've had the following lined up for days when he inevitably signs for someone else because we couldn't afford to match their bid:
Philogene is not our player
He's just some guy
That we tried buy
But the price was.too high

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Spurs fans don't rate Sanchez at all, apparently very error prone and seems to have balance issues causing him to fall over a lot.
Sounds like a slightly pacy Michael Keane so think we need to serve this one.

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
The issue is VAR talking the ref through why he needs to make a decision... He's already going to the screen to view a studs up contact from the defender. If they just let him go over and see the whole incident without telling him what to look for I bet he'd be bemused about why he's re-watching the...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Further 2 points deducted.
I love how everyone's finding ways to fuck over FFP... Although on the flip side it's also infuriating knowing we'll likely be the target of any clamp downs not the richer teams who aren't even trying to hide it!

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
I'm so excited for Sunday I've been pretty chilled all tournament because we were playing so badly I felt we'd go out before now... However now we've reached the final I'm already nervous as hell. It's hard to see us winning this, we have form under Southgate of failing at the first main challenge....

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
This is what I’ve been saying all along with Southgate. He’s left a lot in the tank for when it’s been needed most. He knows how to build his way through a tournament and his record can’t be doubted now. Deserves a lot of credit. A minute away from going out against Slovakia was criminal and he got...

I tell you what, this Southgate fellas alright isn't he?! ![🤣](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f923.svg)
No idea how we're in the final but we've got there, if we beat Spain at least it'll feel like we deserve to win the competition because they're the best team by far in this tournament.
Amazing goal by Watkins, wonderful strike![🙌](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f64c.svg)

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Been a really strong first half that, obviously never a penalty in a million years but no one can argue we deserve to be level or ahead. Foden has been immense, off the line and hit the angle... Really stepped up so far today, been out best player. Need a second half like that now because we've not ...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
What's the opposite of a soft spot for a player, as I definitely have that for Beto but not sure a hard spot sounds quite right ![🤣](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f923.svg)

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
I'd love to see us play some sort of cohesive attacking football tonight just to give me some hope that if we won we'd have even half a chance against Spain... But we all know it'll be a dull defensive grind with no flair and hope a wonder strike wins it. Then we'll do the same against Spain, lose 3...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
It’s worth noting. It’s ok to be balanced and see both sides with players you like. I like Dom, been a great player, but it’s been three years of constant injuries and a lot of poor performances thrown in. Scored two of our most important goals as well, but selling him for £30m is a good thing for ...
