Re: Pickford
Wonder when England fans will give him the credit he deserves... Still always feels like he's one mistake away from being cast aside as an average keeper who shouldn't have been playing. Been solid as a rock in every tournament he's played but never seems to have cemented his reputation amongst a lo...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Excited to see what Potter can do with this group, genuinely. Same, and imo it's nailed on he's getting the job and knows it given the other jobs he's turned down. The rest of the game after we equalised summed up Southgate perfectly, we should have used that momentum to take the game by the scruff...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Kept Spain quiet but need to have more quality on the ball and being braver with it. If we can use the ball better we've shown we can stop Spain, but unless we do so it's going to be us just getting pushed back as the game progresses. It's there for the taking but this is where those talented player...

BBC here too, will never believe ITV is a better option for this kind of thing even if it actually was.
Had a Cottage Pie for tea, BBC for the footy... Come on England!

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
I think the things going in our favour tonight are: No team has attacked us yet, and doing so might open up space for Foden and Bellingham to play in. Mainoo has locked down Rodri in a final previously. We've showed great grit and character to score late goals so this will never be a comfortable mat...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Taking my 9 year old to play his golf tournament at Close House for 3:30pm which should hopefully take my mind off it for most of the afternoon. Then I'll probably spend a couple of hours convincing myself we're actually going to win it before experiencing the inevitable crushing disappointment of a...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Yeah we are well short but hopefully the Onana sale give us some wiggle room to sign one or two, and then likewise with Dom if he goes. That Chelsea lad we've been linked with is a DM apparently so I'd imagine he's the Onana replacement and out other domestic loan option, so we still need a winger (...

Re: Amadou Onana
Wowwww £50m is the best deal on the market for a player of his ability. Pants absolutely down. We've got fans who can't wait to bin him off saying resign Dele 😆 We'd probably get £70m for Branthwaite if someone was willing to pay it... and he's played a whole lot better the last 12 months and imo h...

Re: Dele
As far as I see it, we can either give Dele £10k (or whatever) a week and never seen him play for Everton or we can save that money and @brap2's mental health by moving on with our lives. I know my choice. It's the what ifs though isn't it... Sure it's 95% definite he'll never regain any thing like...

Re: Dele
I have no problem letting him be a "trialist" and training with the team, playing in exhibitions. Get him in a good mental space, and find a new/permanent club. He's completely wrong for where we are as a club, and I'd be interested to know what player ever takes a 75-80% wage cut (withou...

Re: Dele
Let’s be honest, he isn’t signing anything for less than £50k and definitely nowhere near £10k Then he would be out and have to find somewhere else to play. At the end of the day the chances of him contributing anything over that season are extremely low so £50k a week would be a total waste of mon...
