Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Right footed dribble machine who can play either wing if the YouTube video I just watched is anything to go by. Definitely seems like we're targeting players who can run with the ball and drag us up the pitch which should allow us more options than a long punt to DCL or a Tarks 60 yard switch of pla...

https://twitter.com/Everton/status/1813473711540052248 Don't know if the details are clearer in these images. Actually looks a lot better in those pics than in previous ones... Looks like the background of the badge is the same colour as the shirt now thankfully too. Sort of quite like it albeit wo...

Re: Beto
If we could get our money back and buy someone way more suited to the premier league and Dyche's style it'd be a total no brainer.

Re: Dele
If his contract is run down, how can we still be obligated to pay spurs anything if we do reach an agreement with him? Because lawyers aren't stupid and would have ensured any deal didn't allow us to not renew and then 'sign him' just after without that being viewed as a renewal of the original con...

Re: England National Team
My concern with Potter is that it takes him a while to coach his philosophy into teams, and he won't get that at international level. It's Carsley for me, about time we had a Brummie in charge. I don't think that's an issue tbh... Yes at club level maybe, but I'm pretty confident the likes of Belli...

Re: England National Team
Carsley or Potter for me, although I'd take Ancelotti as unrealistic as that is. Southgate's shown that being an England manager isn't just about what you do on the pitch, but also the culture off it, and that's why I see Potter as being ideal... Seems to have the Southgate integrity whilst being fa...

Re: Dyche
Absolute zero for me... I think though if we finished say 11th this season and 10th the next but played attritional football many would call for his head over that period though. I genuinely think with the right support in the transfer market and stability at the club he could, given time have us in...

Re: England National Team
Heard people advocating for this on Talksport this morning... Don't think I could watch a single England game if he was in charge.

Re: Pickford
I think a little too much has been made of Guehi's performances... Thought given the circumstances and his lack of experience at this level he coped well, but he did almost nothing with the ball. It was uber safe (understandably) and we missed Maguire bringing the ball out from the back, something G...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
He's clearly ultra detailed, very thoughtful and he's had a material impact on results and expectations. Ultimately I think he over analysed what it took to be a winning international team and it resulted in safety first, moment-driven football that only gets you so far. I think we'll be looking ba...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Pretty crap when you at the team he's in as well though, they scored 81 goals in the league. Think he had a bit of a purple patch for a couple of months where those numbers came together as well. As you say though, only 20 and plenty of potential still. Hoping we're getting this on the cheap if it ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
11 goal involvements last season, not amazing but he is only 20 and has a fair bit of experience for that age.
Wouldn't be spending £30m on him but can see how he fits our profile of younger high potential players. One good season and you could easily double your money on a pacy forward.

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
We had a plan of what to do without the ball yesterday but it seemed like no plan once we had it. We all knew Spain would press like mad, so what was the idea to bypass this because it felt like there wasn't one. Foden also seemed to be playing very high up with Kane instead of deeper and getting th...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Ironically it's all the quiet good work he's done with the team that makes it so easy to forget what an absolute fucking shitshow it was when he came in. Is he a good enough matchday manager? No. But he's sorted an awful lot of shit out in the background. I remember when all this was WAGs. Yeah the...

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
England's future should be bright but they need a more dynamic manager who'll use the talent they have in the squad properly, Southgate's too cautious for these players now. Let them loose, let them play and see what happens. They had a great squad there not to mention the players who didn't make i...
