Re: Relegation

We've not been deducted any more points, until we are nothing changes. Feels like someone was desperate to start a relegation thread again. Yeah, you're right, I was making an assumption based on previous charge and panel actions. I can see how that's unduly pessimistic, given they've not docked us...

Re: Relegation

Oh fuck off, talk about putting a downer on an already shite day. Wasn't trying to be a downer. More what needs to be done as there isn't much input or influence fans have on the FFP side of things. If anything, the gap (5pts) is actually somewhat positive and somehow still doable with a 20 point d...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Deducted 10 points

It's like what would happen if VAR was applied to the league table.

Season finishes...oh wait, hold on, we're going rewind the previous 3 years and get back to you. You may or may not be fucked...hold on...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Deducted 10 points

Another thing is that they are going to decide the fate of the two clubs at the end of the season, in full knowledge of how many points would/wouldn't relegate both teams. How is that remotely appropriate on any level? It's supposed to be a dispassionate, equal system removed from human error or bi...

Relegation

Well back here again. This does seem to warrant it's own thread separate to the deduction from a purely what needs to be done on the football pitch point of view. Have to assume until otherwise stated the situation is now: Luton 16 pts Burnley 12 pts ----------------------------------------- Notting...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Deducted 10 points

I don't really get the timeline. Has it been confirmed anywhere?

Could it really go beyond the end of the season with appeals? Absolutely crazy if so. Not fair on anyone at that point.

https://twitter.com/theesk/status/1746923970153103568 He's standing his ground. I mean he might be correct, but surely any things to take into account should happen before referring it to a panel who get to make things up as they go along. It’s accounting. It either is or isn’t correct, maybe break...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Deducted 10 points

Just such shit. Nothing about it makes sense unless viewed from the lens that they’re trying to send us down to prove they can.

Absurd process.
Absurd penalties.

Everything about it makes no sense.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Maybe we had a manager in Carlo who was so good he made players hit levels they’ll never be able to reach again. I don’t think this is a bad spell for him unfortunately. This is probably what he is as a striker now he has a lot of injuries on the clock. I think Ancelotti kept it pretty simple for h...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Deducted 10 points

Any delay in punishment is just taking the piss. Having appeals after the season has ended is also ludicrous.

Making it up as they go along, and trying by all means necessary to have the final say. Their agenda is pretty clear.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Deducted 10 points

Blame to go around, but finger is firmly pointed outside of the club for these outrageous punishments. Can't be arsed with internal blame game at the moment. Especially as clearly we've been bending over backwards of late to act responsibly and spend next to nothing. The PL can go fuck themselves tr...

Re: Dyche

We've had too many shit managers, I'd not be comfortable giving up on a competent one. If we go down as is the likelihood with another massive deduction, there is no telling how far we could fall, especially if the financial rails completely fall off. Think you'd be insane to remove any stability in...

Ridiculous.

Where do you even start with this nonsense?

Twice in the same season for what is basically the same rolling period?

20 pts? Insane.
