Same. Had to sort the tea. Came back in for penalties, knowing that there actually being penalties was unlikely.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

I don't get how in a state of the art modern stadium there aren't more camera angles to be able to see.

Why not do the lines off this angle?

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Find it incredibly odd that no one seems to know the details of a charge until after a verdict. Why don't we know how much forest went over or how much we went over the 2nd time Because its confidential private business information, and until the club release the public set of accounts no one else ...

Re: Saudi Arabia taking over football

I wasn't sure where to put this as it is a bit of a cross-over subject. An interesting article in the Guardian about the German Bundesliga supporters battle with the DFL about foreign investment and influence through TV and media rights. A battle the supporters, at least for the moment, appear to h...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Yeah, Goaljira is spot on. A bit like the PGMOL, it's difficult to know if it's arrogance or incompetence when it comes to Everton. The only thing I can't take about the two punishments is that they're going to be applied in the same season. It can't be right that you're punished twice in the same ...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

It’s shows just how ill thought through the entire system is. One bad year, for whatever reason, can completely screw a club for three years. Or in our case twice in one year which is equally insane. Its really the opposite. If you only have 1 bad year in 3 then you're fine. You've got the other 2 ...

Gary1878 wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 5:04 pm Can’t honestly believe we have been charged again. That is far more annoying than even the appeal as it’s so much more of an unknown.

There have to have been other clubs really close to FFP or at least due to break it this season. We can’t be the only ones along with Forest.
Why can't we?

The accounts haven't been made public yet, and will likely not until April like normal.

No surprise really, massively overrated

Be hilarious if Alonso goes there
I was holding out hope that Carlo decides to call it a day, and Alonso goes to Madrid.

We paid £9m for him, not sure what some of us thought we would be getting for £9m in todays market but if we can turn a £15m profit on him then we’re cooking with gas again ! https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/12686973/james-garner-everton-sign-midfielder-from-man-utd-in-15m-deal Maybe I...
