Re: David Moyes

He had agreed to take the job when we did a last minute u-turn and appointed Ancelotti. As elite as Carlo obviously is, you'd have to think we'd probably be in a much more stable place now if we'd just got Moyes then. I think it's a perfectly reasonable, attainable suggestion if he leaves West Ham....

Re: David Moyes

Well I wasn't sure that, even by now, I'd be mentally prepared enough to expect a somewhat pro-Moyes-for-Manager thread on NSNO, all these years later.

Re: James Garner

Surely knowing the financial constraints you have to understand that every signing matters, and put ever deal under massive scrutiny? Is this player for the starting XI? Does the team function with them, or does it need a wholesale way to the play style? When are we going to sell them? How much can...

Don't worry, we've noticed. ;)

I reckon we get some pacey wingers and sit McNeil behind him.

Re: James Garner

I could try and argue a case for McNeill, but trying to debate the pros and cons to determine the 'least worst' signing of the last 3 years just isn't worth it. Not sure where exactly Thelwell started, but this is who we've signed since the summer of Allan, James and Doucoure. Joshua King Robin Ols...

Re: Dyche

I can’t get behind the sack him and bring in vibes shouts. Only realistic option for me is Carsley if he’s willing to do it with the under 21s gig. Absolutely do not get Baines in. It won’t work in the way people expect imo. Was thinking about him the other day, but pretty sure there's no way Carsl...

Re: Dyche

I love the I’m not defending him but I really am stuff has to go any competent manager wouldn’t have set us up like that last night totally overrun in midfield palmer had no one near him kept pulling Jared out from the back line leaving huge gaps waited until 4-0 to change it You can criticise an a...

Re: Dyche

Sounds like when the Wigan and Swansea fans warned us about Martinez and we just laughed them off... Nah, it doesn't. Whilst you're always going to have fans that do, or do not, like a manager/player they've got, once they've chosen to move on from the club, there is heavy bias against from the fan...

Re: Dyche

Apparently tonight was us having a go according to what he said post-match. Not sure which interview you were listening to there, but I've listened to two so far and in each he's criticised the performance (without calling anyone out specifically), but criticised particularly the professionalism of...

We've had nearly 20 managers in 22 stints in the meantime, and only one with any type of success. It's been a looong time.

Re: Everton in the media

Can't help thinking if we weren't FFP'd we'd have Richarlison and Gordon on the wings, Iwobi in between, and Digne at full back.

Ah what that might have been.

I've got big issues with these two kits on display. Do Spurs not have like a yellow or blue kit this season?
Absolutely woeful, barcodes understandable but those taupe haze (apparently) shirts are crap. Reminds me of those grey ones Alex Ferguson binned.
