Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

I mean the land we have leased for 100 years if off them so i think they would have some say in what we do. Stop trying to convince yourself we are about to implode because we aren't. I've nothing but optimism about the stadium. Just pointing out an obvious piece of bullshit people seem to have fal...

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

If we go out of business we wouldn't need a stadium. The point is stupid. I don't know the ins and outs but I imagine we can't legally sell it, probably unless it's ratified hy peel ports. Which I doubt they would. Peel have zero say as to whether we sell our property or not. They may be able sue u...

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

Without a stadium TheRam AndSeel , it wasn't a random What If. My point is, no contract we have signed can legally ensure the ground remains ours in all circumstances. We move in next September and simply sell the stadium to somebody. What can Peel do? They can't stop the sale. They can adjust the l...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion

Surprised we are still able to bring in additional players since the take over collapsed and it could be a long time before we get a new owner ? Think the Onana money already spent ? I think the takeover had nothing to do with our ability to trade players. Only the P&S rules does that. Takeover...

Re: Amadou Onana

We signed him for £30m and we're selling him for £50m. We lose some of the £20m profit due to a sell-on fee. Everybody needs to get out of the amortised accounting tricks mindset. Cold, hard cashflow is just as important as regulatory sleight-of-hand. We have circa £16m in cash and space in our book...

Got smashed 3-0 didn't we?

Took a 2-1 lead to their place then had to field that team.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

My worry is, if Moshiri has the money to keep the lights on after this current period, why did he rely on high risk, dodgy loans from 777. Hopefully someone can assure me I’m wrong. This season's TV money has cleared But we post a loss each year - which means at some point towards the end, we run o...

Did they pull out of due diligence with Roma, or did they walk away from the negotiating table?

Feels worse because it seems like Thelwell and Dyche are implementing something that looks suspiciously like a plan for the the first time in a life time.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

One of the reasons 777 couldn't buy us is priority of existing debt.
TFG aren't buying us due to the 777 debt.

So are the next guys not buying us because of the above 3 tranches of debt whilst adding their own branch?

Re: Dyche

Because it's just reality, managers move on constantly and will likely be sooner rather than later. And because it's not just who manages the team is it, it's emblematic of the whole direction of the club. Like it or not, you have to accept what dyche represents imo. Was it these guys that brought ...
