Re: Beto

Because we'd concede a lot more goals by virtue of the ball not sticking once it got up to him, and his touch, workrate off the ball and passing to team mates is so incredibly poor we'd spend a lot of time with the ball just coming straight back at our defence and midfield all camped on the edge of...

Re: Beto

I think he'd score more goals with more minutes, he deffo causes a bit of trouble in the box and his nose is good for a chance I think. He's also a really good dribbler for some reason. But his first touch and hold up and passing and stuff is absolutely dreadful. Maybe he can just be like haaland a...

Re: Beto

As has been said before though, scoring the same or slightly more goals than DCL wouldn't make up for the deficiencies he has that would have a massive negative effect on the overall effectiveness of the team. We'd need.to change our style of play completely and he'd need to bag 15 goals minimum fo...

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

I can’t find the energy to stress about this. I was buzzing about the Roma folks because it looked like a steady hand was coming in. But since they rumbled us and found that we're a front for a gang of criminals and run a mile I can’t logically believe that a legit buyer will come in for us. It’s go...

Because we’re a criminal enterprise and if they sniff out someone willing to part with some cash they take it.

Re: Amadou Onana

Shame but necessary. You just get the feeling we had no intention of building around him and flipped him in the time we wanted but probs about 10m or so short of what we planned?

I like him and will follow his career tbh. I like his style.

As the Club celebrates its last season at Goodison Park, the body of the jersey sees an abstract representation of Everton’s first official crest from 1920, with the letters EFC deconstructed within the print.
It might be my untrained eye, but I can’t see it.
