Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion

Know nothing about him. If we sign him and Dele we will finally have a team with adequate depth at winger for the first time in maybe 20 years

Re: Jaden Philogene

Can't imagine they could force him to sign for villa. How would they even decide on a contract if he had to go regardless I would presume they would stay on the same contract without an extension. I assume it is possible, I just doubt it happens since teams don’t want players that don’t want to be ...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

Great football day for the English and American. England makes it to the Euro Finals and the US fired their awful manager.

Didn’t see the replay. Looked as if there wasn’t anything he could do about it. Is that a fair assessment?

Re: Jaden Philogene

Surely any club has the right to match any bid, anywhere. The final decision would still be up to the player. Doubtful. Seems Villa’s clause would restrict him from going to another clause if they match the price. Otherwise this clause would be meaningless and they would never include it in contrac...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion

Haven’t seen any credible sources reporting this. My guess is this is just his agent trying to get teams interested

Oh I 100% know that would involve us drugging every decision maker in the club to get them to accept that.

https://twitter.com/EFCdaily_/status/1806355687078871334 Not the player I was expecting a bidding war on 😂. Ipswich reportedly trying to buy Greaves from Hull. Think their initial offer was £10m. I would use any Godfrey money to try to sneak in on that deal. Would be a great third choice CB and fut...

Re: Yankuba Minteh

Yeah but it won’t hinder us long term, they’re changing the rules And it’ll save us massively short term and allow some kind of rebuild which we desperately need Very true. The rules change in 2025-26 if I remember correctly. So the goal posts are moving. In the future it’ll be down to percentage o...

Especially after all Everton has done for him and stuck by him with all of his injury woes. If he wants to leave he should sign a new contract with the understanding we will let him go if a proper offer comes in

Re: First ever match at Goodison?

After doing the stadium tour summer of 2010 I was finally able to afford to make it to my first match at Goodison, Everton v West Ham September 2022. Yes, I was sat in the Gwladys Street end to see Maupay’s only goal for Everton. My second match was later that season to see Everton v Tottenham where...

Not if we knew we had a sale coming to balance everything prior to June 30. Then in theory we could line up deals to execute on either side of June 30th based on how much wiggle room we had.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion

Which I’ve always wanted us to do, but we’ve always seemed to receive a big wad of cash first, and then go sniffing for new players with a new money premium attached It seems we know we are getting money and also know some Clubs need to sell before June 30th. If we are going to be taken advantage o...
