Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

We should have been penalised for ABC last season, the Premier League are making it up as they go along but nobody in the media seems to care enough to point it out. It will probably benefit us that it's happening like this but it highlights their incompetence. Definitely incompetent but we are ben...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

I was thinking along the lines that now they have reduced ours to 6 then 6 will be the precedent going forward for breaches. Forest case is a little different to ours as one of those 3 years was spent in the championship and 2 in the PL, so different guidelines. But you're right, I don't know the f...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

So I'd assume, going forward now. The penalty is 6 points for breaching. So if us and forest get 6 for the next bout we should be OK. I assume it’ll be scaled to how significant the breach is. Giving the same for £1M over and £20M over would be harsh. And probably see clubs just say “fuck it - if w...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Looking forward to the detailed reasoning for why. https://resources.premierleague.com/premierleague/document/2024/02/26/b1c920ab-c053-4414-913a-c529efd27d18/Everton-FC-and-Premier-League-appeal-decision-260224.pdf The reasoning is in here but I don’t want to read 61 pages. If any of y’all want to ...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover

Period of exclusivity is surely over. We shouldn't be speaking to anyone, and God knows the loans have complicated things but we could absolutely say thank you but this isn't looking right for us on this timeline, we're moving on. Period of exclusivity may be over, but I would be very surprised if ...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover

I don’t think we could negotiate with another club since we are currently under talks. Unless of course 777 would be okay with immediately flipping it.

My friends sent me the same to wind me up. Doesn’t look like Liverpool though.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

I think we are down on minus 20 even if it pulls forest into it too. Can't imagine the 2nd punishment can be as big as the first given we've stopped spending now I'm thinking 6 and 4 for the second charge with forest getting 6 too. Right now that might be an okay result Was saying this when the sec...

I’m rooting for him. There’s a player in there but he’s 26 so you kinda want it all to be there by now.
I’m with you on that. Had some pace and a little high. Would have been tough for him to get on top of it.

Re: Ben Godfrey

Great interception when he chased back and slide it away, almost carbon copy of earlier in the season when he did the same thing. I thought he looked decent overall, but they got in a fair few times down that side second half and I couldn't tell if that was Godfrey or Young at fault, or even Garner...
