Re: Jarrad Branthwaite

Would be huge if we can keep him for another season. He probably looks at what dyche does with defenders and realises he has a good thing here. He’s already too good for United and they seem to be the only serious link. Another season here, off the back of a euros where I think he could stake a ser...

They're the only two viable options
Can’t we do both? Put him on another contract so it protects him longer term and/or gives us more money if he goes.

Looks simple, which I don’t mind at all, if a bit uninspiring.

Re: Everton in the media

Dress watch: Richy - beautiful. Adore the bow tie. Liking the big white trainers. Onana - very nice, he really suits the turtle neck with the jacket. Gana - looks boss. Looks proud as punch. Very lovely colours. Danjuma - liking the open collar. Liking his hand in a fist. Doucs - not too keen. I pr...

Re: Amadou Onana

We need a boatload of bodies on the incoming tide and not much money to pay for them means we will not be able to be too picky. Entertaining myself now with daydreams of a young team of punts and runts, all having a breakthrough season and being led up the table by Onana. (sigh) I mean, we accidenta...

Re: Pickford

No single player got us more points this season than Pickford. Dom 8, Duke 7, Beto 5, Jack 4 - then all 3’s and 2’s. Every clean sheet was worth at least 1 point and there were 13 of them. I know the defence is important too, but our strikers are not making their own goals either. If we lose Branthw...

Everyone dancing around the racism word. There will be some of that in some people’s criticism in some parts of the world, but this reads like we’re trying to have an honest discussion about the man, but scared of saying the ‘wrong’ thing. This place has always been a good place for honest debate, t...

Re: James

He was past his best when he got here and injury prone and teams stuck 2 or 3 on him 1 or 2 to mark him and 1 just to kick him. He was slow as fuck.

But by god he was more magnificent than anything we’ve seen in years and I loved watching him play for us.
