Re: Jesper Lindstrom
Just not sure about this signing. On reddit, both Frankfurt n Napoli fans don't seem to hold him in high regards. He had 2-3 months of being absolutely world class at Frankfurt but nothing post that and that was 18 months back. Would hope he comes good though. It's always tough to take on board the...

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
I don't understand the cynicism. Anyone would think that we had Super Frank Lampard as manager and have been in a relegation battle for the last 3 years judging by these comments. Mine was just a throwaway joke tbh mate. I really like the signing and I know a lot of larger clubs than us wanted him ...

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
I think it'll be fluid in the sense that no-one will be sure where they should be at any given time.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
That makes the most sense. McNeil left, Lindstrøm right, Harrison for rotation (as he should be). Swerve Gnonto, much as I’d like to have him, and buy a good midfielder in the same price bracket. Yeah I think we'd all like Gnonto, because you can see him improving a lot and increasing in value a lo...

Re: Kalvin Philips On Loan
Agreed.
There's rescue projects you can take on, which make sense and might give you some value in return and this isn't one of them.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
I think Dyche will opt to use him in one of the wide positions, because he's very hard working and very good at pressing.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
I bet it's not even Romano doing it anymore. He probably has a team of data aggregators doing it.

Re: Beto
I think Beto is just a different player to DCL, and we just need to understand them differently as players. I think we have these templates in our heads as to what players ''should be'' based on their appearance, and they don't always match. Despite appearances, Beto has more in common with Michael ...

Re: Amadou Onana
I genuinely didn't think it was remotely over-dramatic video. When I saw the comments about it I thought ''bloody hell, has he turned the waterworks on, and given it the biggun here?''. Then I watched it and it was just a calm, relatively understated message thanking the fans and the club for helpin...

Think Villa under Emery is a lovely move for the lad's development. Fair play Ama.

Re: Kalvin Philips On Loan
Absolutely unknowable where his head is at or what his level of motivation to come here and graft is. Even at 80-90% of the highest level he’s performed at, he’d be a huge upgrade. We have plenty of bodies in the middle of the park but not much quality with the ball. Having someone with a decent pa...

Re: General Transfer Thread
Shame to see a player in their prime take blood money at the expense of their career, but each to their own I suppose.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Bit of an unfair standard given we are actually very good at centre half. We aren't very limited at centre half. Think he'd do a decent job for most of the bottom teams I hear you but I don't think it is an unfair standard. I think he was pretty bad prior to Branners and Tarks locking the gaffe down.
