Re: Today's Football 2023-24

Chelsea need to get Cole Palmer on the ball in the final third. He's one who doesn't give a fuck about the Liverpool narrative machine.

Re: Brighton v Everton

There have been plenty of players over the years that have been useless in a particular league. It’s hardly like we’re not playing to his strengths, he gets balls in behind to run onto and crosses landing on his head yet never looks like he’s going to do anything with them. His first touch is very ...

Re: Brighton v Everton

I really don't think saying Beto has been terrible is a blind spot tbf. Sure he's strong, he's fairly quick... But there's no end product and his touch and technical ability are awful for this level. I'm sure he got away with a lot more in Serie A that made him effective in that league, but he look...

Re: Brighton v Everton

I mean he's done nothing to suggest calling him useless is hyperbole. I suppose we should put a good through ball to him to run on to... Oh no we did that. Maybe ping a great cross for him to use his ability to head home from close range? Oh no we did that too and he completely missed it. Doesn't m...

Re: Brighton v Everton

Completely missed the ball with a header from a great Garner free kick, got through on goal and put it in row Z. His absolutely useless unfortunately. He's not useless mate, but you crack on with your hyperboles. Your manager should be using him much better and he could be effective. He's not the r...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Nah, I think we're defo getting something back. Just unsure whether it'll be a token 2 points (to take it under the administration threshold) or whether it'll be something more substantial.

Re: Brighton v Everton

Beto's movement, strength and pace for the chance he had was really good. He curved his run really well to get back onside. When people slag forwards off, they often focus only on their finishing, and ignore the other important parts of the game. I thought he made a number of excellent runs and our ...

I’d be looking long and hard at Beto both for the miss and his half assed pressing of Grosse

Re: Brighton v Everton

Of course you can be disappointed, and I am but just trying to see the positive aspect rather than sinking into depression/anger, it helps preserve my mood. Ah ok, so it's a coping strategy. Understood. I won't get onto you after games now when you try to convince us that everything's fine, after a...

Re: Brighton v Everton

90% of us expected a defeat in the prediction thread, 90% of us said would bite your hand off for a point, we got the point, the fact that we led for 20 odd minutes doesn’t change anything, an unexpected point and we gain on our relegation contenders. Mate if you're 1-0 up in injury time with a man...

Re: Brighton v Everton

A win would've been huge for confidence and in the actual table to demoralise other teams a bit.

Livid with that. This fucking club is a chore.
