Probably Arsenal at this point. I think they are resigned to City being good, but they would find the idea of Arteta winning as many titles as Klopp a bit annoying.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

I'm a fan of Ange, I have always liked and defended him on here and I think Spurs will do really well if they give him time and money to buy the players he needs for his style. It's not true that he can't adapt. He adapted against City, and played a very different system with Sarr almost playing in ...

Can they really not get guests that haven’t played tor Manchester United?
Yeah, it's really odd. On the fan one, they invite a fan from all 20 clubs every time, and then they speak to the same 5/6 fans and the other fans just sit there and listen.

The point still stands. We try to use him like Michael Essien, but In a better footballing team Onana will be more like Jorginho.

But because he doesn't look like Jorginho, and we're all quite superficial, we find that hard to imagine.

Re: Arsenal v Everton

I could see it being a weird 1-1, where news comes through that City are winning 3-0 and Arsenal and their fans are totally deflated, or it might be the classic ''let's bum Everton 5-0 on the final day'' carnival atmosphere where Tomiyasu gets his first goal of the season, and everybody's lining up ...

Re: Amadou Onana

He's a deep lying playmaker for Belgium. He takes the ball off the keeper and the CBs and starts the play off with short and long passes into midfield, and then defensively he sits in front of the back four using his big frame and his long legs to intercept and make tackles. He rarely needs to run a...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

I think overall with Ange he's taken Spurs from 8th to 5th, after selling Harry Kane and with Son probably a bit on the decline now. Spurs fans definitely would've taken that at the start of the season. It's a decent first season. They made a very fast start and that probably inflated expectations, ...

The blue boxes are where they picked the same players, and the white are players where they differed.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

I really do find it hard to have sympathy with clubs like Liverpool/Arsenal/Man United who spend £100s of millions themselves on transfers and obscene salaries calling Man City cheats for doing the same thing. I don't celebrate Man City's obvious cheating but in the grand scheme of football, it's n...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

Couple of real chances Spurs had, could've been a different result had the smallest of chances fell in their favour. City certainly haven't walked this. Absolutely. Spurs have played well. My two Spurs mates are overjoyed with the result, and they're fuming at how close they got to a draw/win in th...

Ultimately, Arsenal lost it in the home defeat to Villa a few weeks back. They had to be perfect for the run in, and they weren't.

Spurs players have done their fans proud tonight, for once.

Tried enough to make it look competitive but made sure they've been poor enough in both boxes to keep the title away from Arsenal.
