Re: Dyche
If (and it is a massive if) we can keep everyone together for next season, then it’s realistic to aim to finish top half. Barring any points deductions again. Whilst we have Pickford, Tark and Jarrad, and Gana sitting in front, I’m not concerned about relegation at all, just no chance of that happen...

Re: Arsenal v Everton
It’s just a completely wrong decision. End of. Jesus leant forward, and if the ball didn’t hit his arm, then there would have been no goal. It could not have hit any other part of his body and led to a goal. It’s just another blot against the refereeing in the PL. VAR got it right. Oliver bottled it...

Re: Arsenal v Everton
That was an absolutely pathetic decision by Oliver. Absolutely baffling. By the rules of the game, he had to rule the goal out but just thought fuck it, don’t want to upset the fans.
Performance was really good and a great way to end the season.

Re: Thelwell talking strategy
I think it’s either a loan or nothing for Harrison. Gana was the main one to tie down so that’s great news. I think KT will be hoping that we can survive one more year with the squad we have minus a potential sale of Onana. A successful window means making a profit via Onana, reducing the wage bill ...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
So ideally we want them to go bust, sell the debt at a much lower price and be taken over by someone who actually has the fucking money to do so?? No, they would have bought the debt for cheaper but we would still owe the same amount. So if we owed 10% per annum, instead of the new owners of the de...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
So if this lot go under do we have to pay them back ? Under administration/liquidation, a company's assets (including loans that are owed to them) get sold off to repay their own debts. Everton's loans will likely be sold to another party and so the debt is very unlikely to go away. Whatever compan...

Re: Pickford
I love Pickford. He's mad, and he is a brilliant shot stopper. Given his importance to us, the fact that GKs don't tend to raise much money (relative to other positions on the pitch), and that it's doubtful he would want to move, then I don't see him going anywhere for the remainder of his career un...

Re: Arsenal v Everton
If this is anything less than 3-0 I will be majorly surprised. Expecting 4/5-0 to be honest, especially given that we are terrible away at Arsenal.
They are very very good. And they really need to win at home. Love the optimism, but no chance.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
This whole saga is a failure of any one person or institution to make sensible and logical decisions. Moshiri wants to sell, end of. He doesn't care if it is to Kim Jong Un at this stage. He just wants out, and I get it. But 777 don't have the money, and their directors are in all sorts of trouble, ...

We need to rave about this guy a lot more than we do. Goes quietly about his work so so effectively. PL Stats for the season: 4th in Interceptions (Jarrad 6th) 1st in Blocks (Jarrad 5th) 3rd in Last man tackles 2nd in Clearances (Jarrad 8th) 2nd in Headed Clearances (Jarrad 7th) 1st in Aerial Battle...

Re: Arnaut Danjuma
Danjuma is Demarai Gray mk II. Limited off the ball tactical awareness, and runs down blind alleyways with the ball. That doesn't mean that he isn't a talented individual. Like Gray, he is. It's just he doesn't fit well in a team environment at the highest level and you can't trust him in a tight ta...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Watkins has had a fantastic season and should rightfully be the deputy to Kane. 19 goals and 12 assists is a ridiculous tally. You would also argue Solanke at 19 PL goals this year would be ahead of Dom but we know that Southgate picks his favourites and doesn’t change things around too much. It wil...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
My point was more that they decided against it at that previously agreed price. Which suggests 777 are offering more than 320m and that when 160m for 50% was agreed they thought they'd be getting a good deal and that's no longer the case. If they wanted 50% for 160m they'd have called in the loan. ...
