Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

The way the Premier League have handled the whole case has been terrible. And this delay is just further evidence of a lack of procedural process. The fact that it is taking so long to finalise this in a key part of the season is so poor and quite unfair on Everton and the rest of the clubs that wil...

Re: James Garner

He has the ability to do more but he just isn’t. It doesn’t really seem tactical as I am sure Dyche would want him playing more progressively forward when he is on the ball. Given the above, I think you have to have him sitting in front of the back 4, and allow the another CM to move further forward...

Re: Everton v Crystal Palace Mon 20:00

I suppose it's what we feared/expected with Dyche. We'll be competitive enough away from home, when we're not expected to make the play and at home, it'll be horribly basic and torturous to watch. If the club ever gets onto a level footing again, where we are just a mid table team or whatever, our ...

Re: Everton v Crystal Palace Mon 20:00

I don't even think we looked good at the end. We just slung a few balls in and a set piece went for us, and then we went back to being shite again. I wouldn’t say we ever look good, but it’s more whether we look effective. Even if we stay up, I am concerned about playing this way going forwards. It...

Re: Everton v Crystal Palace Mon 20:00

First 70 minutes were dreadful. Really was some of the poorest football in a long while. After the goal and as soon as the subs came on, we looked a lot better and more normal. Godfrey and DCL had good games. DCL battled non stop up top but was left alone by an uninspired midfield unwilling to suppo...

Re: Everton v Crystal Palace Mon 20:00

Shocking half of football. Awful watch.

Changes are needed at halftime, both tactically and personnel wise to go on and win.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

If you read the PL Handbook under section w50, 'Commission's Powers, they have an absolutely unlimited remit of what action they can take. Note, point W.51.10. W.51. Having heard and considered such mitigating factors (if any) the Commission may: W.51.1. reprimand the Respondent; W.51.2. impose upon...

Re: Everton v Crystal Palace Mon 20:00

There isn't any way that Hodgson going will be helpful for the players.

They probably only knew on Sunday at the earliest and so there is no time for any additional input or preparation by the back room staff.

They will all be well drilled I am sure, but there isn't any benefit to him leaving.

Re: Loan watch

He is a bottom of the championship/league one level player that is capable of that kind of challenge. A really horrible tackle.

Re: Relegation

So much depends on the points deductions that it makes looking at fixture lists pointless at this stage until we know the outcome.

So many games left and points to fight for as well.

Not concerned at this stage.

Re: Relegation

Absolutely no doubt that we are missing Douc. He is so central to our attack, as those runs into the box that he makes aren't replicated by anyone else. I would like to see us potentially move Onana up into his position if we have Garner and Gana available to sit in CM. Gives us that energy and heig...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

The point is that we don't know if the penalty is harsh or not, because there is no anchor point or guidance from the Premier League from which we can ascertain the severity of the punishment. That's where the gripe is, not the fact if we are guilty or not. What the PL are also saying is that they c...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover

Might be miles off but if these are the only 1s in at the price then the club maybe isn't worth that price. It's all very well having a 750m stadium but if the new owners have to take on 750m worth of debt too they are the 1s actually paying for it. Think moshiri is relegation away from having to t...
