Re: Jesper Lindstrom

I don't understand the cynicism. Anyone would think that we had Super Frank Lampard as manager and have been in a relegation battle for the last 3 years judging by these comments.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom

Our team has trouble finding our forwards as it is. Having a fluid front line wouldn’t just make it difficult for the opposition it’d confuse the hell out of our midfield and defense  I am actually quite excited by the moves we have made and what the first XI could look like. RB and CM still n...

Re: Jesper Lindstrom

I think this guy might be part of a plan to be able to play quite a fluid front line, with players swapping between the wings and no 10 position. It seems Lindstrom and Ndiaye are comfortable in either role, and so that might be quite a difficult thing for the opposition to pick up, especially when ...

Re: Kalvin Philips On Loan

Philips went from being a success at Leeds and England to being told by Pep he wasn't good enough. I'd imagine that's very damaging to confidence, and the lack of game time massively affected his fitness levels. The player at West Ham wasn't the real Kalvin Philips, it was a version with absolute r...

Re: Amadou Onana

As I have previously said, I think this is just a good transfer all round for all parties, and it's not often you say that. Onana is a really good player and will get better. Villa should get their money's worth, but for £50m, we are also making a good profit and that's not exactly cheap. I think he...

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

That from Kieran Maguire is about as positive a spin as you can put on the entire situation at the moment. Suggesting that the club is "reasonably cash strong" is a big statement. Especially when you then immediately go on to say that we have enough funding for the next few months only and...

So do we now also owe them 200M? Who are the creditors, I'm lost with it all now.
TFG paid off MSPs debt and then put a bit more into the club to pay more stadium bills.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

Still clinging onto hopes that its just posturing from Friedkin to get Moshiri to reduce his price, but I doubt it. It will all come down to price for any future owners. The Friedkin group clearly found something that would have cost them a lot more money than they were expecting at the outset, and...

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

I do wonder what they have found in the covenants of the debt that we owe to 777 that has made them back out. It can't make good reading. Ultimately, this will all come down to the terms of the takeover agreement, and how much Mosh is now willing to write off. He may need to reduce his price even fu...

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite

The fact is that it is very unlikely that Yoro will be ready at 18 years old for PL football at Man Utd at Centre Back. He is 3 and half years younger than Branthwaite and so unless this guy is the next Matthius Sammer, then they will still be short at CB and playing Maguire and Lindelof alongside t...

Re: Amadou Onana

This is the way a football club of our size should be continually run. Buy quality, v talented young players, develop them and sell them for a profit onto clubs in a better position or those that are right at the top. There is no shame in this and you can still be extremely competitive. Clubs of our...

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite

It's fine for United and I hope the signing works out for them. This lad was in the last year of his contract, and so Lille either accepted funds for him now, or risk losing him for free. AND, they have had to pay more than they initially bid for JB, someone who is older, more experienced, English (...
