Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Listened to a podcast earlier and they said Dyche had alluded in his presser that we expect to get some points back (Holy Trinity Podcast)? Anyone listen to his presser and heard that? Or is that just their take on it I'm wondering? I didn’t get that impression. He said we might, and we might not. ...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Watched a compilation of all Leighton Baines' goals for the club last night randomly, and felt a really sense of sadness and loss of a better time at the club and a different time in football. I was also contemplating a cheeky wank at the sheer beauty of Bainesy's left peg, but I declined in the en...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

The Premier League not only has a duty to the clubs but also to the fans of the clubs. The fans are the lifeblood of football. Without us, clubs and the PL would not exist in their current form. So why is the communication to fans so poor from the PL on the entire process? And in fact, if they had p...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Can’t honestly believe we have been charged again. That is far more annoying than even the appeal as it’s so much more of an unknown.

There have to have been other clubs really close to FFP or at least due to break it this season. We can’t be the only ones along with Forest.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Its a mess. There is no two ways about it. You should never have this kind of thing in the key part of the season where it can have a material affect on the competition. And then there could be another points deduction, where the PL giveth, and the PL taketh away, in which we could stay up, but then...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

The way the Premier League have handled the whole case has been terrible. And this delay is just further evidence of a lack of procedural process. The fact that it is taking so long to finalise this in a key part of the season is so poor and quite unfair on Everton and the rest of the clubs that wil...

Re: James Garner

He has the ability to do more but he just isn’t. It doesn’t really seem tactical as I am sure Dyche would want him playing more progressively forward when he is on the ball. Given the above, I think you have to have him sitting in front of the back 4, and allow the another CM to move further forward...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

If you read the PL Handbook under section w50, 'Commission's Powers, they have an absolutely unlimited remit of what action they can take. Note, point W.51.10. W.51. Having heard and considered such mitigating factors (if any) the Commission may: W.51.1. reprimand the Respondent; W.51.2. impose upon...

Re: Loan watch

He is a bottom of the championship/league one level player that is capable of that kind of challenge. A really horrible tackle.

Re: Relegation

So much depends on the points deductions that it makes looking at fixture lists pointless at this stage until we know the outcome.

So many games left and points to fight for as well.

Not concerned at this stage.

Re: Relegation

Absolutely no doubt that we are missing Douc. He is so central to our attack, as those runs into the box that he makes aren't replicated by anyone else. I would like to see us potentially move Onana up into his position if we have Garner and Gana available to sit in CM. Gives us that energy and heig...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

The point is that we don't know if the penalty is harsh or not, because there is no anchor point or guidance from the Premier League from which we can ascertain the severity of the punishment. That's where the gripe is, not the fact if we are guilty or not. What the PL are also saying is that they c...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover

Might be miles off but if these are the only 1s in at the price then the club maybe isn't worth that price. It's all very well having a 750m stadium but if the new owners have to take on 750m worth of debt too they are the 1s actually paying for it. Think moshiri is relegation away from having to t...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

No one is debating that we deserve some sort of punishment. The club was terribly run for a long period of time and it was always going to catch up with us. But let’s flip this on its head. Why weren’t we given a larger points deduction? Why wasn’t it 20 points? Why not relegation? Could that have b...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

What a load of drivel that letter is. And over the 41 pages, where is the actual calculation of how the 10 points was calculated? Oh that’s right, there isn’t one. Lots of words explaining why we deserve a punishment but no formula or explanation how they arrived at 10 points. The Premier League hav...
