Re: Kalvin Philips On Loan

Even with a loan fee of 8mill and paying him 95k a week for a 9 month season it's going to cost us over 10 million quid. Then in 9 months time we're back to square one whether he does any good or not. That's money we can't spend anywhere else. Pretty disappointing if after 4 years with the same dire...

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion

On the face of it his goalscoring record is grim, although I assume most of his Chelsea appearances were as a sub.

If we were buying him straight from Southampton I doubt he'd command much more than 10-15 million.

Re: Kalvin Philips On Loan

I'd rather we didn't. These loans are so expensive these days that you have to be pretty sure they are successful and I'd this as 50/50.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

I have the feeling that any potential owners with the knowhow to succeed can see enough from the outside to not even bother.
I'd be very surprised if our next owners are people we are happy with.

Hope we don't ask Villa to pay the money directly to 777. Don't want this one going west at the last minute.

Compensate. Like we feel for his loss and are only holding him back.

I'd be surprised if we loaded him out. I think he'll get more minutes with us. Probably replacing Beto in the pecking order.

That's the crux. Two very different things.

Who are EFC Daily? Considering they didn't have an inkling the Friedkin deal was collapsing they claim to have knowledge of the intentions of other possible investors.

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

I was alwas sceptical that 777 would simply move aside after being the only thing between us an oblivion for months on end at considerable financial cost to themselves. Looks like there is a real danger that the only people willing to take us on are shysters that wouldn't get near owning a PL club i...
