Re: Dyche

For me that was a terrible setup, team selection, use of subs and approach to the game and could've easily be served up by Benitez or Allardyce. No amount of post-event rationalisation is going to change that for me. I've praised him a fair few times this season, and acknowledged the circumstances ...

Re: Dyche

It’s not the fact we didn’t win it was a big chance to get a first win since December against a struggling palace side with a chance to drag them into it and he went so defensive that he let them settle into the game and easily defend our long balls they actually had 2 great chances to go ahead in ...

Re: Dyche

Yeah I just dont think they are good chances, they are scrappy and horrible and rely on you beating several players to the ball in a warzone. Best chances in the game per xg were: Onana header (7 foot in the air, crowded box) Doucoure shot (crowded box ball pinballing everywhere) Tark header (crowd...

Re: Dyche

It's finally making me question xg. The chances we are 'creating' are just NOT good quality chances I don't care what anyone says. Swinging a boot at a bobble in the box or leaping 7 foot to guide a header, these are not good chances created. I think we tend to miss one really big chance every few ...

Re: Dyche

Was terrible but DCL had 2 presentable opportunities, Garner had 2 really good opportunities, Doucoure somehow couldn't direct the ball in to the goal from 4 yards out. I've seen performances like that where we create nothing, so I'm with TheRam in that it wasn't anywhere near the worst performance ...

He'd be alright in the back but wouldn't be any good further forward.

No worries, glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks he's getting a bit of a rough ride here.

Re: Ashley "not so" Young

Yeah when he tried to dribble down the wing and beat a man I thought I was watching a slow mo replay.

He's beyond finished, take him out back and put him and us out of our collective misery please!

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

No they are on him. Not individually but as a whole. As a whole he should have scored goals and hasn't. That's how percentages and statistics work. 200 5%s should average 10. You can't just say well they were only 1 in 20 opportunities so it's not on someone for achieving zero He's statistically th...

Re: Dyche

The deduction does have something to do with now we played last night. Firstly we snatch at every chance because the situation is dire, and if we were in 12th you wouldn't see such panicky finishing imo. The crowd were shitting it from the first minute it seemed and gave the team no atmosphere becau...

They aren't 'on him'. He's out of form and the chances aren't easy... It's a mix.

Yes he missed a one on one a few games back, that's about the only one I can remember lately that was 'on him'.

Re: Relegation

Didn’t Patterson play the full game away to West Ham we kept a clean sheet played a few since it’s not like he is a defensive liability like Keane dyche is ruining this lads career I honestly can't remember who we played last time Patterson started but he was all over the place and offered nothing ...

Re: Relegation

Yeah I'm not advocating sacking him what so ever like. But that really swayed me last night. The right side of Young/Godfrey when we had Harrison and Paterson on the bench is absolutely unforgiveable. A CB at right back and an ageing winger who couldn't take on a tortoise. Before anyone pitches in ...

Re: James Garner

Linked with spurs Sunday England call up rumoured today are we all missing something I haven't seen any stats, but I bet any money his defensive stats are pretty great. It's just he can't seem to do anything beyond that other than cross in good set pieces. It makes it extra frustrating that he's cl...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Most chances aren't 1s that they should score. He's not scoring any though. He's apparently statistically the worst finisher in all of Europe's top leagues. Pretending he isn't the problem is just daft. His finishing is going to get us relegated It's part of the problem, but so is the chance creati...
