Re: Dele

Even when we could have actually played him without triggering his next clause he's not been available so I really don't see the logic in this at all. Also I know it's been debated to death, but if we release him on a free and re-sign him I'm pretty sure Spurs will have that locked down as just bein...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover

They seem like they're on the verge of collapse so it'll be absolutely bizarre if they are deemed fit and proper... But if course it's the Premier League we're talking about here, and they've just been made to look like idiots with our points deduction.

So... Welcome to Everton 777!

How'd you know this? Genuine question, not the argumentative statement it probably reads like.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24

Since when has barging someone on the back not a penalty anymore? Seen a few like that not given this season.

Re: Relegation

15th and 5 points clear of Luton... Heady times!!!

It would be cause for celebration of we didn't have the second charge hanging over our heads.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

So... Any chance we can have an explanation as to why we received 10 originally and how they've come to 6 this time?

Happy to have some back though, changes things a bit... Let's hope the second charge doesn't equal the same amount again as that would just plunge us in to the relegation zone.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Charged again

Listened to a podcast earlier and they said Dyche had alluded in his presser that we expect to get some points back (Holy Trinity Podcast)?

Anyone listen to his presser and heard that?

Or is that just their take on it I'm wondering?

Re: Beto

Listen he gets shots off. I'm v forgiving when it comes to finishing, but what I want really is a striker causing trouble, holding up the ball and getting 3+ shots a game in good positions. He's nearly there with zero game time. His physical attributes will mean he's always a bit of a nightmare whe...

Re: Beto

Yeah I want the Cherminator to start now, purely based on that. Also the Beto chance that he blew over the bar. I wouldn't say it was an easy chance. People getting carried away a bit I think. It definitely wasn't an easy chance... It's the blazing it miles wide and high that I have the issue with....

Re: Beto

Caused more trouble in the first few minutes when he came on than DCL had all game. His finishing's poor but it's not easy when you're getting 10 minutes here and there and he's proven elsewhere that he can score. Probably another that just needs to get one or two and see how he goes, you can see h...

Re: Relegation

Could easily say some people are so defensive of the manager that they're not willing to admit he might be wrong on players. The last match he started was Wolves away in a back 5 where he wasn't at fault for any of the goals. Played at home against City where he had a decent game and the match befo...

Re: Relegation

Ready to give up on Patto in this team tbh, if you offered me a decent RB in the summer I'd bite your hand off. I do think he would have made a better fist of it elsewhere tho and probably still will. Yeah I'm sure in the right environment and with the correct game time he'd kick on loads... Can't ...

Re: Relegation

I haven't seen anything from Dobbin at all that warrants game time tbh, heard The Blue Room saying he needs to play but I don't see anything there that gives me confidence he'd be worth that time on the pitch. I understand the argument for Patterson even if in reality I don't agree he's ready or can...

Re: Relegation

Why do people have to massively exaggerate something to get a point across? No one's saying Patterson's the next Cafu or that he's getting better sitting on the bench, just that after some of the shows Young has put in Patterson could quite probably do a better job either at right back or further u...
