Everton's ridiculous replacement for the popular "hit the bar" competition at Goodison Park at half time is dying on it's backside, unsurprisingly.

The embarrassing "Kick for the Caribbean" in which contestants try to kick footballs through holes in a bouncy castle is being shunned by those who win the chance to take part.

Today, Everton put out a plea for the winner from the Boro game to come forward to take their chance infront of the away fans at our next home game - Aston Villa. "Hit the bar" was never short of contestants, but then it did have a decent prize!

David Moyes has been fined £5,000 for pointing out a referee's mistake.

Moyes was sent to the stands by Alan Wiley after the official failed to give Everton a penalty which TV cameras later showed he could clearly see against Stoke City.

Moyes does, however, escape a touchline ban, but has been warned about pointing out official's mistakes in the future, which apparently just isn't fair.

Website( [link] ) Stad-Rennes-Online claims that the Blues have made an improved offer and that the club will give an answer on Monday.

However, Rennes' official website carried the following quote from their manager today, “Our position did not evolve/move. We are always determined to preserve Stephan MBIA. This decision, I repeat it, is firm and final. ”
