NSNO's poll, how do you think Everton will do against the Baggies?

Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Juventus midfielder, and flop, Tiago, has rejected a move to Everton, citing a move to Spain as his preferred choice.

Tiago failed to impress in his last spell in England, and it is reported that he is unwilling to try again in the Premier League despite Juventus being keen to get rid of him.

The Liverpool Echo is reporting that talks to bring Alan Smith to Goodison Park are still ongoing.

Talks were believed to have broken down after Kevin Keegan asserted that the player was not leaving, but the Echo claims that along with discussions with Stephane M'Bia and Joao Moutinho, the Blues are still in with a chance of bringing Smith to the club.

John Paul Kissock is looking forward to a season among the first team squad after joining them for training this week, and he insists that he is using the experience to push himself towards the starting eleven this season.

"It’s amazing for someone like me who has supported Everton since I was a lad and now I’m working with some of the best players in the world, so it gives you that buzz and that 'umph' to make it into the first team squad," he said.

"I want to try and work my best this pre-season and put a few ideas into the gaffer’s head. If I’m not ready yet then maybe I will go out on loan, but I’m looking to try and push into the first team during pre-season and we’ll see what happens.

"The every day of working with such great players is amazing.

"They’re all fantastic and they all make you feel welcome – it’s what dreams are made of."...discuss this on the forums
