How will Everton fair against West Brom? : NSNO's poll, how do you think Everton will do against the Baggies?
No go for Tiago? : Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Juventus midfielder, and flop, Tiago, has rejected a move to Everton, citing a move to Spain as his preferred choice.

Tiago failed to impress in his last spell in England, and it is reported that he is unwilling to try again in the Premier League despite Juventus being keen to get rid of him.
Smith talks continue : The Liverpool Echo is reporting that talks to bring Alan Smith to Goodison Park are still ongoing.

Talks were believed to have broken down after Kevin Keegan asserted that the player was not leaving, but the Echo claims that along with discussions with Stephane M'Bia and Joao Moutinho, the Blues are still in with a chance of bringing Smith to the club.
Blues after Bradley again? : Everton are reportedly back in the chase for USA attacking midfielder Michael Bradley.

The Blues, along with Blackburn and Middlesbrough have been linked with the player again after Everton's interest wained earlier this summer.

Heerenveen, however, say that only a "substantial" bid will be enough to tempt them to sell.
Tiago Blues first signing? : The Sun is reporting that Tiago has signed a loan deal with Everton which the Blues have paid a £250,00 fee for the privelege of.

The paper also reports that Everton are paying his £50k a week wages....
Carter returns to Everton board : Everton have re-appointed Sir Phillip Carter to the Everton board of directors according to the Official Site's listing of board members.

Carter was on the board during Everton's most successful era, and signed the club up for the Premier League.
Victory of the Vanquished : As many Evertonians would tell you, going to the match in the city is about meeting your pals on County road, having a few beers, walking up Goodison Road to the Old Lady then meeting for a few more beers (or Bacardi Breezers for the more exotic Blues!) after the match and complaining whether we win lose or draw. Something a car, train or bus journey to Kirkby would totally change.
Tiago loan deal done? : Channel Four are reporting that Everton's loan for Tiago from Juventus has been agreed and that the midfielder will join on loan before the end of the transfer window.

The Blues are reportedly ready to pay £800,000 for the loan deal itself, as well as £35k a week wages.
Date Set : The date for the start of the public inquiry into the Destination Kirkby project has been set and agreed for November 18th.

Both Knowsley Council and Tesco have declared themselves pleased with the decision, whilst nobody from Everton would comment today.

With an EGM in two weeks during which Everton's management are happy to see Destination Kirkby discussed, more pressing issues surrounding funding are on the board's mind before any inquiry.
Tiago loan to buy : The Guardian is reported that Everton will sign Tiago on loan this month.

The paper believes that Juventus will sanction the deal only if Everton include a deal to take the player on a permanent basis next summer for £8m.
